Chandrababu’s return to Andhra helm set to reignite Amaravati capital dream
One of the dignitaries who met Naidu in Delhi on June 5, was Alluri Narayana Raju, director of NCC Urban Ifra, one of construction majors in Amaravati, where all projects were stalled by Jagan
Walking into any small-time real estate agent’s office in Tullur village in Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh, one would see on the wall a map - the detailed master plan of the Amaravati capital city.
Spread over 217 sq km of land, the Amaravati city was TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu’s pet project which had taken shape in 2015, barely one year after Naidu took over as Andhra Pradesh chief minister following the state’s bifurcation.
However, in 2019, the development of this city, named after Andhra Pradesh’s Buddhist heritage, had come to a halt after Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy spearheaded the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) to a landslide victory in the state Assembly polls

Prof is clueless about the subject, it's not about 'iconic' buildings. If they create the infrastructure like roads, drainage, power, water, etc, Amaravati will take shape by itself. Secretariat and assembly can continue to function fro where they are for some more time.

You are talking about constructing buildings alone. If all infrastructure like roads, drainage, power and water is available, just like in hyderabad, it is quite possible to construct buildings in a couple of years. In Amaravati nothing is available and they have to start from scratch. Your comparison with one secretariet building and one parliament building is inappropriate. Moreover, KCR and Modi didn't have resources crunch. Please make dispassionate comments

Very bad analysis, sometimes I wonder how you became professor, in Telengana capitol city is already there, it’s easy to construct any type of building, AP on other hand no capitol in 2014, it took some time to decide a location, now you cannot build just building in nowhere , how did you miss this simple comment sense , it took some time to get world class landers and builders, if you would have at least visited Amaravathi once a year since 2015 to2019 you would have wondered it’s progress and would not have talked bad about it, to build a city or a building in nowhere, in this age, first you need to build underground drainage water electricity, how did you missed this basics, shame on you
