I’m sitting here with my Daddy who is dying. He isn’t conscious but as soon as I started playing him these bagpipes he started to move, I know he can hear them. He’s lived in Australia since he was 18, he fought in the Vietnam war under the Aussie flag (no-one could understand a word he said!!) but he has always been a very proud Scotsman.

Das ist die schönste Version, die ich von dem Lied bisher gehört hab. Das war auch das Lieblingslied von meiner Oma. Folgedessen wurde das auch an ihrer Trauerfeier gespielt.
