Yes I remember when that 57 Chevy came out it blow everybody's mind. Had an older friend who had one and he would give me a dollar if I could grab it off the dash board when he took off. Never got that darn dollar. What can I say 79 now and these songs take me back to a fun time in my life thanks.🤠🤠🤠😜

The best music ever. It was always played in my house as I was born in the 50's. The only music I listen too and my boys, who are grown men, listen to this too. They also agree that there is nothing like Oldies. Today's music is nothing but a bunch of crap compared to Doo Wop!

I'm a 77 yr old, big bro 88, born 1936...I am a professional musician...a percussionist so I play every type not classical. He was into Big Band Swing , jazz...me R & B, Latin & Jazz. I remember covering "You Baby You" by the Cleftones, Twist & Shout(Isley Bros), and Dion & Belmont's tunes in the school auditorium along with Beatles tunes in May 1964...60th years ago. Now traveling 9000 miles to attend June '64 class reunion in Philly from the Philippines.

Thank You Very Much Sonny for the Great DOO WOP Songs, Im 59 and as a little kid my Mom & Dad used to take me with them on their Friday Night Cruises To Sandy hook, NJ and they would play my Dads 8-TRACK Tapes in his Bad Ass 59 Chevy.I Was Born and Raised in Newark,NJ Where DOO WOP Was Really Big and my Dad would tell me stories about how they had groups of guys all singing DOO WOP On Friday & Saturday Nights on different Corner,s in Newark,NJ and if im not mistaken some pretty good DOO WOP Groups came from Newark. I Miss those days,My Dad Just Passed Away 2 months ago but as long as I Listen to DOO WOP His SPIRIT Will always be with me.Thank you Again Sonny for the Great Songs

I went to SE Asia in January 1968 as an AF "Spook" and was there until Christmas night of 69 when I processed out on Christmas Eve because my father-in-law was on his death bed via the Red Cross message. I'll be 80 this August. Glad you made it home brother in arms.

OMG I had so much love for this music. Even in my own room while I was teen, with my girlfriend, I'm sure mom and pop knew what was going on, but had this music playing, so it was never an issue. Those truly were the best of times and girls were truly genuine, beautiful and amazing.

I was in the navy and home on leave and met my sister best girlfriend who was a a year older than me. She asked me out for a date and we spent 2 weeks together before I had to be at my new station in San Diego. She flew out a month later and spent 2 weeks with me. A month later I got a dear John letter. If she would of waited I would’ve of married her after my discharge. She was a very beautiful model but it didn’t happen,, broken heart !

I grew up with this. I loved the lead singer lyrics, but really defines their continued greatness are the supporting harmonies and the the sweet deliberate doo wop pound. I also miss the sax as the key instrument. Why is everything a guitar now?
