Станок аж стопорился, подклинивал. Не пойму, то ли ремни буксовали, то ли крутильщик уставал (шутка). Условия и культура производства, конечно ужасают. Тем не менее делают, вопреки всем ужасам.

I think Noah cut the main propulsion drive gears for his Ark on that old Gear cutting machine, and it hasn't seen any lubricating oil since. But I'd say a very reasonable result under the circumstances, at the very least it'll do the job. ✅

The gears and bearings inside the machine*, not where the cutting tool and workpiece meet. *need lubrication oil. he wrote lubrication oil (i guess he knows the difference between lubrication oil and cutting oil), that reinforces the impression that he was talking about the machine

жуть технолога. КАК можно в один цех зачистку (болгарка судя по звуку) и обработку ставить.Фрезу на биение не проверяли! работает одним зубом,чудо что еще работает

The cutter needs to be ground between centers because one tooth is standing out more than the others causing it to grab in the same place.

Там между втулкой станка и отверстием колеса пусто. Они посадили колесо на глаз и померили штангенциркулем расстояние от втулки до границ отверстия с четырех сторон, чтобы было ровно. Меня больше убивает, что там работают старые люди, то есть со стажем, и за всю свою карьеру они не додумались наточить переходники, чтобы колесо на втулке сидело ровно. Разница между сложностью станка и уровнем работников впечатляет.

Их общество предельно ритуализированно и в обычной жизни никакие инновации появиться не в состоянии. Буквально, "рационализатора" забьют свои же, ибо "наши предки делали так и всё". В рамках кастового общества Индии и, частично, Пакистана это позволяет получить крайне стабильный и послушный государственный строй, но он, фактически, консервируется сам в себе.

Think they was running it that slow that the motor didnt even have enough torque to run cut the thing. Mind you they probably running it in a tiny single phase motor 😂.must of took a week to machine that gear tho

This is a classic example of why American made parts cost more...because precision is worth more! Every time that worn out dinosaur machine stalls at the beginning of a cut the part is moving on the fixture.

Люфты в станке капец. Можно немного улучшить режимы резания, поставить моховик на вал фрезы.

Улучшить можно тупо заточкой фрезы, а не колупать вот этой тупой железякой. Предварительно прорезать впадины более тонкой фрезой, благо они у них все равно самодельные, могут сделать. И только потом окончательно резать зубы под червяк. Ну и керосин/соляру струйно в зону реза. Хотя о чем я... Там даже втулки на оправке фрезы сухие.

@@_MadFox Ну да. Но я про люфт по всей цепочке счепления шестерен, когда фреза проваливается, а потом входит в резание, она почти останавливается)

OMG it must have taken a week or three to cut those gear teeth! And at pretty low precision, given all them is entering, slop, and backlash in the machinery. Not a huge profit center there.

у вас будет радиальное биение, посадка внутренней части шестерни должна быть жёсткая, в процессе нарезания зуба радиус уйдёт))))) Такие шестерни будут работать плохо и заклинивать, неужели вы это понять не можете? Внутренняя посадка шестерни должна садиться на стержень с усилием в 1 сотку.

The Gearcutter is not in center on the driveshaft. Two teeth only are cutting the material. Loose the nut of the clamp a little bit. The Gearcutter will center automatically.

Theres a lot more wrong with this than it being centered. A gear tooth has two angles on it. A pressure angle and the root angle. The itch angle being steeper towards the outer part of the tooth and the root angle of course down in the bottom of the tooth. It helps the gear mesh with the mating gear. Only a root angle on these. I have no idea why the cutter was jumping like it was other than a worn out machine and how it stayed on its cut path is a mystery to me. Its just a mess.

Underpaid guys have to work the ancient gearcutter or starve. No money for safety equipment. No money for precision sharpening the actual cutter. No time or money to fit new bearings and gears in the cutter gearbox. I worked at David brown Gears Huddersfield next to two precision gear cutter machines that cut hardened steel gears.

I think a Cow walks around in a circle and that keeps this big gear turning. That in turn is geared to a rotating pump that pumps water out of a well and waters the farmers crop.
