Patty's Cakes Cobbler and Fried Chicken in Lakewood, CA. It's soul food-to-go. You have to check them out.
We ordered the fried chicken plate with 2 sides and cornbread. My sides were collard greens and cornbread dressing. Jonathan's sides were collard greens and red beans and rice. He wanted macaroni and cheese but it was sold out. He even got a special lemonade but we didn't get to film it because he drank it so fast. For dessert, we got the red velvet cake and strawberry shortcake (which reminded me of the ice cream treat). They sold out of the peach cobbler which I hope to try next time.
There isn't much seating inside but the food is delicious and the customer service is the best. They even ring a bell if you're new. We highly recommend them.
