Amazing TRADITIONAL Peruvian Food at El Bodegon Restaurant | Lima, Peru

Күн бұрынEating all the amazing traditional Peruvian food at another one of my favourite restaurants in Lima, Peru! It’s called El Bodegon and it’s also owned by the father of Peru's gastronomic revolution, Gaston Acurio. This place serves Criolla (Creole) food that will delight your palate. The restaurant itself has great character and has a fantastic atmosphere with Criolla music on the background. The atmosphere will make you want to stay for hours enjoying various dishes and a couple (or many) Pisco Sours. I can’t recommend it enough!

El Bodegón is a traditional Peruvian restaurant located in Pueblo Libre district. I've been there many times, I love to eat ajiaco in that place.

Te recomiendo un ceviche de conchas negras con arroz con mariscos 😋 o un tiradito 2 colores.

Primera vez que veo una muy buena elección de la comida criolla en Lima... claro no es toda la comida criolla pero es una elección buena y variada qué nos permite conocer según tus papilas gustativas la variedad de esta comida en la Ciudad de Lima. El Perú tiene más comida regionales y básicamente cada región o departamento tiene su propia comida hay cientos sino miles de platos... sería muy interesante verte en videos de comidas regionales muy interesantes como la arequipeña, Piura, Loreto, Cusco etc.

Great. El Bodegon is one of my favorite restaurants when visiting Lima. Their pastel de choclo is out of this world. I would describe it as a shepherd's pie but with corn instead of potatoes. Yummy

How I envy you Andy. The food is one of the things that is so hard to leave behind. I wanted to help you eat all those typical dishes or our County. As soon as the Covid is allow it, I'll be back like a shot with one of my daughters, and for sure I'll go to 'El Bodegon'. Thank you.

El corazón es una de las partes del animal que es igual de limpia que la carne, no participa en ningún proceso digestivo, así que no tenga asco de comerlo y realmente es exquisito.

INCORRECT. Many of my friends who try Chicha Morada say it has a bubble-gum like flavour. I've heard it many times. Inca Kola tastes like Creaming Soda to them and ALSO bubble gum...
