As someone who speaks spanish, I've noticed that these soldiers talk so much shit. lmao it's quite amusing.

I loved RDR2 with a passion. Its story made me feel so many ways. But Red Dead Redemption is always gonna be the superior game to me. The feeling of heading into Mexico as Marston will always be one of the coolest moments in a game, probably the coolest moment in fact (again - just my opinion). Maybe the civil war subplot was a bit thin, but the overall vibe of this segment of the game is legendary. RDR2 did not have many Leonne-esque moments, it was more of a big tragedy - again a brilliant game... hard to deny that... My wish is for everyone who liked RDR2 to replay the original and see just how well its aged, and how well the prequel retconned it.

Whenever I'm outside about to smoke a joint, I turn on this ambient music, sit down, and relax. It's beautiful how they aimed at making you feel you're in a villa in the 1900s.. it's so damn wonderful. I know for a fact that I'll be coming here till my last dying breath .. especially when I get some lsd so I can indulge myself even more into the music ND the world of red dead. Even tho I've passed the story countless times, it's mostly about me being there. It's not about John marston but about me. Me feeling the scorching deserts of Mexico to feeling the nice windy nights of armadillo. Such a trip

I remember when I played the Mexico part in the game, I remember drinking a mexican tequila before starting. I have that memories stuck in my head

I never played this game so the feeling this ambient gives me is nostalgia. Since im from Mexico, i remember visiting towns and after a hard day of visiting the town attractions i would sit on my hotel bed and listen to the street. Normally we are close to nature so it sounds almost exactly like this. Its the most calming sound i have ever heard.

I am fascinated by the sound of the trumpet widely used in Mexican music.

God the ambience in this game, especially in Mexico, is one of the best in gaming history. I absolutely LOVE just hanging around in Mexico, playing Liars Dice, hunting bounties, just enjoying the scenery. Imo, this is the 2nd best Rockstar game of all time.

Met a guy out on the trail, sombrero + poncho skin. He hid behind a tree obviously wondering if I was a murderhobo. I hit the emote button to show I came in peace. He emoted back. We swore at each other in Spanish for a bit. Posse formed. Then we rode to Mexico picking up a few other guys on the way. We holed up in the fort, firing the cannons and building up a huge bounty. Other players started arriving after the bountu money but we held them off with cannon and rifles. I miss that random mexican guy to this day.

this is Torquemada high up on this mountain in the wilderness,it is a military police out post that overlooks the desert,watching for people breaking the law.... no one breaks the law out here anymore, only someone trespassing,hunting illegally, many minor things,there are usually six of us here we work in shifts,the day crew,then the night crew come on from the village,we go home till our next shift, then we takeover again.... we look out over the desert landscape making sure all is well in this part of the country,we can see the village in the distance our home when we aren't up here, we also have a little fun from time to time,we play cards, we tell tales,sometimes some of us take naps, but that doesn't mean we sleep on the job though.... we also have a great view of the railroad and the train that goes into what we call the free land,what we see of it from here is mountains covered either in grass or snow,the only weather we get here is hot boiling days and cold shivering nights,it rains regularly and we all stay in on those days,we no longer have leaky roofs.... well not much more to tell,the night shift are on their way from the village and we will go home and rest for the night,tomorrow is saturday and we will be off and the weekend shift will take over,so take care out there and good night,God Bless from us up here in.... Fun fact: this music is actually in RDR2 in what would be Mexico. If they add Mexico in the inevitable next gen launch of online and story imagine the fun of capturing a fort with your buddies and fighting off other players and such.
