well, we're all heading towards the same destination as we get older.... maybe AA's cities have a different cultural attitude towards death and the reminder doesn't really bother them. It'd also explain why people keep coming back after the last residents got mass-killed in poorly managed natural disasters! Death ain't shit to 'em

Honestly, I do kind of love the complete difference in these challenges compared to the others. Zomboid? "I did this, this and this, and I was a manly man for it." Kenshi? "I have a cunning plan!" Sims? "Though it was a struggle, I managed to make my Sim the richest man alive with a mighty mansion!" But Cities: Skylines? "I made a city... It may have caused the French Revolution. But the second city did better and only maybe kind of possibly caused the Irish Potato famine, so overall a win!" It's just overwhelmingly less confident than other game challenges.

There is one triangle city pattern you can make, which ressembles a star with a square in the middle all outta triangles, and if you want you can even extend the design right. maximum intersection is 6 roads. 4 triangles to make the box in the center, 4 triangles to make the outerside of the star.

The amount of DLC is overwhelming, but the vanilla game is exceptionally fun. Definitely recommend getting the First person camera Mod on steam at least, just to walk your city streets and take in the utter chaos that ensues.
