There's something charming about early development jank that you either have a taste for or don't. If it's priced well and I run out of content after a week or so, I consider that a success, and given how most games blossom I'll probably check back in every couple of years and find so many changes have been made it's practically a sequel. But I don't pay more than $20 if it's not at least 80% done already and no more than $30 on principle.

Ok, this is basically an immediate buy for me. The leech on the refrigerator along with the parallel of politician/leech allusions was too much to resist. Even if it ends up in perpetual nothingness, I’ll forever have my $14 leech/politician associative warm fuzzies.

Oh, that disassembly minigame seems fun! I wish we had more games that focused on tactile disassembly, scrapping, and salvage like that. Instead of just having a "deconstruct" button let me do it manually if I want!

Interested to see where the game goes as you progress. First impressions made me think of The Sims Bustin' Out! which you've actually covered before. Even the context arrow for fishing looked like the one from the Sims. Also hope you feel better soon!

Whilst it does sound the same, I notice it doesn't quite carry the same cadence that it typically has when he's talking normally, exactly the same when he's excited with a minor croak here and there. Mostly commenting for the algorithm, have a blessed day :p

@31:18 They had automated restaurants in the past. They were called automats. You got your food out of vending machines and sat yourself. The people that cooked the food were hidden in the back but these days you could automate that style of cooking.

I wish I could get into VODs / play streams but they just don't have the same character as the scripted, condensed videos! So much filler and digression and Twitch fan service (thanking every single donor for every $4) to the point where we're just watching someone spill their (admittedly interesting and charming) mind onto the screen while we also get some exposure to a game. It just feels like a completely different product from the vids that made your main channel great. I'm glad it's going well for you though! It seems like a real dream come true to be able to do this full time. I submit my single meaningless internet vote to keep VODs on the VODs channel and the more polished stuff here. love the video, and the game looks fun-- one thing tho that i kind of would hazard against and that's flippantly dismantling a microwave. the transformer of a household microwave steps voltage up to OVER 50 THOUSAND VOLTS. this voltage is stored in the cap and diode of the microwave and can kill a man carelessly touching it. it is SUPER SUPER SUPER dangerous to go poking around inside of a microwave and it shouldn't ever be encouraged to do so in any way, no fault to you or the game devs, there are warning lables on microwaves but people are inherently ignorant and curious... love the vids, love your channel, game looks fun DONT GO POKING AROUND INSIDE FUCKING MICROWAVES.
