Jeffrey Morgan i made the mistake of going vr on itx build was very bad decision as have to add usb card for all trackers to work properly.

This is a real cool build. I was gonna use building an HTPC as an excuse to buy a beefer PSU on the main rig. But this case is tempting 🤔

The B550i has 90a vrm.....from a threadripper motherboard......considering im going to run a r9 3950x off of it. I wont have to choose between HTPC gaming pc or streaming rig. XD finally after long enough patience.....and its 802.11ax. Ill eventually get a am4 usb4 motherboard if they ever come out thats ITX......if i want type c support for "content creation" purposes. As far as getting 5+ Solid years out of a 3950x on ITX......i think im going to like this mobo. Only reason id consider buying zen3 r9....is if its 3+ years down the road and zen3/zen3+ offers attributable FPS gains due to a per core oc/ram etc FPS yields it can offer over 3950x......i really doubt the fps gains are nominal enough for me to even justify upgrading the cpu.....when i can always just sell/buy into the next GPU option year or every 2 years.....you really cant justify paying for a new r9 chip just for 10-15% fps gains when you can easily get that from a new GPU esp with RDNA2 coming and the claims of raytracing performance with 10-15% fps dips vs nvida with its abyssmal FPS numbers with RTX on. Perhaps eventually i can put a cezanne APU in the b550i ax as a HTPC....with usb4 concepts and a USB4 GPU i can possibly still get VR support if a GPU obviously has a Type-c interface. But mainly the type-c rear panel for Cezanne rdna2 apu and its potential as a HTPC then.....with pure APU, and perhaps a capture card on the pci-16x. I wonder what the streaming capability of that will be. XD. I can put the 3950x in a 16phase usb4 motherboard when that day comes......either or more or less NGL.

It's always needed with itx lol. VR and sim race mainly. They take up 9-10 lol. I've never got enough usb lol. Worth the trade off for a small pc.

Great build and Gigabyte are killing it with their AMD boards recently. Also doing an H1 build but no front USB-C was a deal breaker for me, so I went with the MSI MPG B550I GAMING EDGE WIFI.

Can you connect from Type-c of this motherboard to 3 monitors through MST hub in addition to HDMI x1 and DisplayPort x2? or is this Type C of this motherboard is the one without Alternative mode, which has no video output?

I ordered mine from Ebay this week! I was seeing it was out of stock everywhere, but then NZXT put stock on what seems to be an official seller from them for $350, many people reselling it for $500 on ebay.

I have the B550 Aorus Pro, amazing motherboard, as soon as you inspect it and check the bios you can tell straight away a lot of thought went into it. It seems noticeably smoother than B450 to me.

How do you keep computer cool with less room for fans in a small case,running midtower ATX case ,still wish i had more foom for fans is summer run with case cover off and a 6 inch 110 fan on it

thanks, always professional, perfect photography and straight to the point videos. This case seems perfect for low TDP cpus. I ended up building my 3900X Aorus X570 pro mini-ITX on an NZXT H400i micro-ATX for the superior air flow and space, plus I like air coolers 😉

You said on the PCI Express, that it would only have four lanes? If the CPU support PCI Express 4.0, wouldn't that be equivalent to PCI Express 3.0 * 8 speeds?

Ok, it has HDMI and DP which require APU, but it doesn’t support 3200G/3400G? Now the latest rumors say Ryzen 4000 may not be avail unit next year? And B450 boards are in short or not avail supply? Will B450s still be manufactured for a while?

I always wanted an Tiny PC like this one. oh my god look the motherboard,so tiny,so cool! is there an option for tiny motherboards like this one compatible with lga1151 (intel 9th gen) ? Its tiniest than mine, its 17x17cm mine is 19x18cm. maybe i only need an tiny case like this one. but could it handle rx580?
