Dad asked some great questions about colleges. In the next video about college applications, of course you will do but would like to learn, if you can present categorizing universities into three groups: Premium, Mid-tier, and Lower-tier. For example, Premium Universities like Harvard and MIT are super fancy and look at lots of things when picking students, like grades, test scores, and extracurricular activities in the selection process. Really appreciate the effort…. If you could touch the extracurricular topic too that would be great. As most of the parents getting confused with this not knowing the real importance during the college application a process. I see a kind competition evolved with in parents with respect to this topic. If you could throw some light on extracurricular it helps a lot. Sports Arts Music Scouts Debate Mock trials Science olympiads Math counts Science bowls Tech competitions Volunteering Internships How all these things matters during college application process

For college application, they will only consider sports as extracurricular activities or they consider Band too..because my daughter is taking flute from 5th grade , now she is in 7th. Hiii, your video very explainatory. Thanks for sharing the information. So if you take SAT or ACT at the end of 10 th grade, then does it cover the syllabus from 11 th and 12th grade? So , can we choose whatever the highest score from all our attempts?that is if we score higher score in 11th grade than in 12th grade, can we choose the highest score from 11th grade?

You get only 1 credit for each class, be it AP, Honors, or a level class. The only difference is that kids get a higher GPA if they take AP/Honors.

Namaste andi.. We are planning to move to US after my daughter’s 10th grade. We want to move back so that she can do her undergrad in US. Is it suggestible to move after her 10th grade? Or should we wait until 12th grade? My daughter is a US citizen. Please explain.

If you move after 10th grade, the big hurdle is to score good in ACT or SAT. If you are confident then should be fine. Or move after 12th, then you have to check the requirements of your interested college and full fill them.
