It would be cool to see Matt again, I think everyone is so different, so individual in both perspectives and desires, likes and dislikes, that there really cannot be a general definition of "The American Dream", some could find it in a mansion and money, some can find it in a shack in the backwoods of Kentucky. It's all relative, and relatability is a finicky fish to catch on a general level. Nice thoughts on it.

Honestly never heard of this movie def sounds like a movie I’ll give it a miss although the thought of a single man looking for a mansion with the salary and the premise kinda intrigues me 😂 great review man

I really like Peter Dinklage, but I can’t get past the fact that teachers and professors have something different than a 401k and they’re not allowed to dip into them until they’re most likely older than Peter Dinklage (and even then he wouldn’t be able to take that much out) and as an economics professor, why does he want a mansion, he has to know that’s impossible?! Perhaps this makes sense in the movie, but so far it doesn’t make sense to me 😂

@@RavensOsFan89 It feels like this is one of those movies where the writers have no experience at all and just threw random things in a pot and came up with a script. Definitely skipping this because the nonsensical plot would drive me crazy

Not for me. With property taxes, utility bills, security etc. with his salary, more like an American nightmare 😆. Positive ending would be if the character was gifted such a house. Perhaps enjoy it for a year then sell it? Thank you for your review.

I have been feeling that way about most movies, I don't feel/ connect with the characters. I don't feel enthralled with their story or them. They seem like background people in plays that should have 2 lines. Its like they are just there in a movie. Its sad when you see good actors/actresses in these rolls. Because then you don't see their full potential. Or is it them not caring? Is the script written bad? Or the directors instructions not hitting their mark? I don't know maybe its just me😥? That's why I love your honest reviews. It make me feel like I am not alone in this. Thanks for being legit on these. Your not to harsh and not to lovey dovey. When you are we know if a real Thank you 💖

No problem. Yeah I guess it just depends what you’re looking for in your movies. There’s a lot of factors and then many things that can make a movie fail or not be appealing.

Looks like this is getting a very limited theatrical release and it sure as hell doesn't sound worthy of being hunted. I don't even think I'd bother with streaming it.

Yeah I think there are some better options out there to go check out. The cast is attractive to catch viewers but, it’s just a miss overall.

Peter Dinklage's last few films have all felt like slice-of-life films that want to be comedies. I just don't think he's charismatic enough to pull off the dickish straight man. Good review!
