Learn the differences between British English and American English and decide which one should you choose? In this video I explain the 5 main differences between British and American English.
I started working on my English pronunciation when I was 15:
I practiced both British accent and American accent at the same time.
Now I prefer American English, and I recommend you to choose one accent, and not to mix both accents when you speak.
Listen and mimic the way native speakers speak, and there are some tips which help you to sound more naturally and confidently.
Have any Questions? Please ask me in the comments below this video.

The term apartment is favored in North America (although in some Canadian cities, flat is used for a unit which is part of a house containing two or three units, typically one to a floor). In the UK, the term apartment is more usual in professional real estate and architectural circles where otherwise the term flat is used commonly, but not exclusively, for an apartment on a single level (hence a "flat" apartment). Gotten (chiefly Canada, US, Ireland, Scotland, Northern English, or archaic) The American and archaic or regional British usage of the verb conjugates as get-got-gotten or as get-got-got depending on the meaning, whereas the modern general British usage of the verb has largely lost this distinction and normally conjugates as get-got-got in most cases except, sometimes, where the speaker wants to emphasize getting something. Gotten has also survived in adjectives, especially in ill-gotten gains. There is an increased usage of gotten in the UK (specifically England), which may be due to influence from American films and increased access to American programs in Britain. However, it is still less common than the get-got-got conjugation.

03:43 you said it backwards, although it is shown correctly. TER is American, TRE is British. About grill and broil, they are really two different things and Americans use both those terms. Broil means to cook with heat from above, while grill means to cook with heat from below. We broil steak in the broiler or oven, but we grill a steak on the barbecue grill.

Texan here. We say grill when cooking something over an open flame or gas fire not broil. broiling is usually cooking something in the oven from the top “broiler” heating element. And also biscuit is pronounced the same way it’s bis-cut not bis-quit.
