So, couple things about Mesut: That gang sign is an "M" for Mesut. Every goal he scores that's in his cele. He's the PG on the pitch, but the team has to cover for him defensively. Most assists in a season in 3 different major leagues. His passing and vision is elite. His left foot is a MAGIC WAND He also likes to shoot the ball into the ground and give it a little 'hop' to bounce over the goalie in 1-on-1s. It's a crazy skill that he's gotten countless goals on.

I agree. Ozil is pretty much what a pure playmaker would be in basketball. Really high IQ. In his prime years, very difficult to defend. He’s got goals too but he’s like an attacking midfielder so he’s mostly creating chances for his teammates

One thing about Özil, he’s is an awesome human being. I gave my son the Middle Name Özil. Messut Özil is a humble person. There’s more videos of him that show his humility.

Özil is a Turk who was born in Germany and has played for the German national team, but now he is currently playing in the Turkish League. Before that, he had his best years at Arsenal and Real Madrid. for me he's the best playmaker with Iniesta and Xavi together.

That Ozil goal where he dropped the goalie and 2 defenders was in the last seconds of a champions league game. It was 2-2 before Ozil got the ball...the rest is history.

Point guard is similar to this playmaker. A playmaker in football is the guy that does what a point guard does. Its jot a position tho. You can be a playmaker in any position. e.g Ozil, Messi, Hazard etc
