No matter what you think of the design, It was a vision the dad had and Mike saw it and that’s what counts. I would’ve bought it too.

I think I'd call Chip Foose in on this one, he'd make it a show stopper.

Um...no...that guy would definitely ruin it. You need Ian Roussel, he would be the right guy to finish this build off. Someone who is an artist and can do justice to the original concept. Chip would just put billet wheels on it and put some modern engine in it and make it generic like all his other builds.

It’s sitting at a house in North Alabama in the same condition, but the owner is looking to forward to fix it up in the near future and is thinking of putting a turbine engine in it. I delivered his mail today.

My guess is after Mike Wolf got his divorce that car was probably part of some of the things that he had to liquidate for part of the divorce settlement.

That is one thing I've noticed about American Pickers is that they will look at a car that needs a lot of work and sitting right next to the car will be another one such as that Mustang that they could get a lot more for it that's in Better shape and they won't even look at it I've always wondered why that is.

To me, you got it cheap no matter the condition. Remember you didn't so much buy a car, but a dream and it seems you've been captured by that dream even though you don't know the whole of it. Good luck, but if you change your mind I can see Jay Leno buying into it.
