Faf is a TRUE Jack Russell Terrier (exact same energy). Yeah - it happened to us back in 2015 - tier 1 SA lost against tier 3 Japan in the world cup - this was the ultimate "trigger" and snow ball effect that resulted later on the death of the Springboks, until Rassie Erasmus (dir of SA rugby) resurrected the Boks in 2018 before the 2019 world cup and won it. During that horrible phase, we also had an embarrassing loss against the All Blacks (0-57).

@@QSNgg yea politics and sport always result in sport suffering, the force of racial quotas on the players and support team lead to SA being forced to use unqualified players, a useless coach and assistant coaches to conform with racist laws from the government, something the world ignores even though racial quotas are illegal (it is actually written into ever sports laws) and SA enforces racial quotes in ALL sports.

10:30 you gotta retreat 10m from a penalty point. If the other team quick taps you have to let him run at least 10m or get penalized with a yellow like the prop did. 10:50 the new zealand scrumhalf drops the ball (Knock on) and the player in front of him picks it up which is deemed an offside. You also sometimes get cases of "Accidental" offsides where the player might unintentionally knock a ball forward into a team mate (Which results in a scrum) Same thing happens to the Springbok number 1 at 9:34 where Faf knocks it forward while hes offside. He can't pick the ball up there which leads to a penalty to Wales.

For the one where the guy got knocked out, I believe that based on the rules it is up to the tackler to dip for contact, not the ball carrier, so even though it was head on head, it was the fault of the tackler not Faf.

the yellow card in the second video was for not retreating. De Klerk's team had been rewarded a penalty and he decided to take it quickly and run. Opposition players must retreat 10 metres (or to the goal line) but he was tackled straight away. Automatic yellow card for a cynical play.

10:10 prop was not 10 yards away 10:47 the 8th man was in front of the ball player (the person Faf tackled is the ball player) so had to move behind the fallen players before he could touch the ball, he is currently offsides. for the yellow @10:27 the offending team has to go back a certain distance before the other team restarts the game, generally in rugby union they favour continuous play, so the team who takes the free kick; in most cases; don't have to wait before restarting the game so the card was for deliberately engaging when he was essentially offside; since he did "come back from play" they say. . . unless that's just what they called it in my high school days... The one after is just a knock forward where Faf made the all black no.9 panic and he dropped the ball going forward man maybe our school wouldn't have done so bad if I knew all the rules back then LOL

Way back in the past I coached American football. The only game where his head is on the wrong side is American football. Americans are taught that technique because individual yards are important but your future health and wellbeing isn't. Ruggers are taught to tackle with their heads behind for safety concerns. 10:21 The ref had just awarded a penalty. The offending team must retire 10 meters before they can play. The prop hadn't even gone back 3 before he tackled Faf. The next play black 8 was offside because he played a ball that had been played behind him. That Wiki-Bio must be out of date. As far as I remember Faf has been paying for the Saracens in the UK for the past couple years.

The reason why players sometimes tackle high is to prevent the offload. If you're the last defender and tackle somebody low, the attacker will just offload the ball to a supporting runner and a try will be scored if you tackle high it can prevent this 👍

10:30 was a yellow, because the tackler was offside, and the ref basiclly said Faf could not see the tackle comming (since he was so clearly offside noone would anticipate it) therefor dangouros play -> yellow card. the tackler was offside, because it was a penalty right the second beforehand, and every defender has to retret 10 meter from the kick, which #3 had clearly not. You hear the whistle, and the Ref puts up his arm towards Fafs team -> Fafs team is awarded a penalty. This penaltykick is taken on the spot my Faf by kicking the ball to himself.

In a penalty situation, offending team must fall back 10 meters before they allowed to play. The prop clearly never even attempted to fall back 10meters, scrummies will regularly do the quick tap and go, to get an illegal response from the defending team, in order to win an additional 10 meters...

I understand it's better for you to have the biggest possible number on your subscribe counter if you're looking out for partnerships, BUT know that it's better for the visibility of your videos if only the people who watch every single new video QUICKLY once their out have subscribed. Because the more subscribed people who DON'T watch your videos, the least your videos are recommended.

The yellow his opponent got was for a dump tackle by the looks of it, you can't pick a player up and drop them to the floor.

@@QSNgg No problems, I'd say that was the case anyway, I'm not to sure about the legality of a dump tackle, you can't pick a player up and slam him/her to the ground, but he seemed to follow him down with it, I do know it's at the refs discretion though so if he deemed it bad enough to take action then I guess that's why. I think they have some good vids on KZfaq about Dump tackling you should watch because it's not an illegal tackle if done correctly and it's amazing to watch in my opinion. 👍🏻👍🏻

What you want from your 9 is to be nuggetty, in the oppositions ear and be really annoying! This incenses the opposition forwards and make them focus on him and not their game! Faf is the master of this! You hate him, but boy do you want him on your team! Case in point 10:08!
