I can't speak for ALL Australians but I personally would love the world to be one. I believe most Australians hate the conflict around the world, our music mostly reflects that. The music of my country is the voice I don't have.

I love that he uses Lennon's and Dylan's lyrics and MLK's speech to highlight that the world continues to struggle with the same issues despite the passing of time. A lot of Farnsy's songs are anthem-like in that they look at humanity as one people and encourage us all to do better. You're the Voice is a classic example.

One thing you'll learn john's songs all have some meaning to them Watch him sing song titled voice and also other titled help both live with Melbourne symphony orchestra Everything he sings has a meaning A couple more are Angles with Lisa Edwards live performance Amazing grace with vendetta and Lindsay fields live performances I don't know if you've ever watched Elvis Presley the ghettos still relevant today be warned it's in your face lyrics Sadly we still haven't learnt our lesson yet allowing the elites to continue manipulation of population's For creed That's my point of view only others may see it differently and I'm white and see it

I love your expressions and your very kind words for John I agree that 'Music Can Cure Things Medication Never Will' ...He is our legend here in Australia but the reactions of so many across the world has warmed our hearts...Hope John get to see this ...Much love from Australia ❤

Another universal song from John Farnham is You’re the Voice. It’s an Aussie anthem and John Farnham is The Voice. You need to watch the live performance of John, singing with the MS0 (Melbourne Symphony Orchestra)

I love how he’s spreading a positive message around the world through all you awesome reactors. Keep it up you have a very nice reaction style, some don’t. Keep it up you’re doing great. I grew up listening to Dylan’s Blowing in the Wind and watched the struggle between black and white with Dr Kings stirring words in the US and World opposition to South Africa’s apartheid. The use of the words of good men and the imagery of landing on the moon and looking back at our World while the sun shines on us all and being part of something bigger makes this song really moving and has always been one of my favourite songs.

You’re so right. Music is extremely emotive and powerful. When used for good like John did here, it can help to create positive change. I’m not religious, so when I see people getting moved by a church choir, saying they can feel God, I honestly just think that it’s love they are feeling, it’s human connection and a sense of unity and belonging. We don’t need blind Faith or to argue about whose God is real- the evidence is right in front of us. Music definitely has the power to bring forth world peace, I honestly wish music was a one world religion. Imagine.

60 Likes...Surely your not going there again. So many of John's songs deliver great messages that were relevant at that time and even more so these days. It was never about hammering out dozy ditties just to make Money. If you really listen to the words of almost every song he wrote or chose to record especially since the 80's, they have a meaning either to him personally like the songs he wrote for his wife and family, or for people in this country suffering from floods or drought or world wide peace and unity .. It'sone of the many reasons why we all love him so much. ❤️ You should also check out his All our Sons and Daughters. I can't remember if you've done You're The Voice yet. If not...that is a MUST Do. Live with the Melbourne Symphony Ichestra version

I’m sorry Mr Farnham, the dreams you speak of won’t happen until the Education System, Lawyers, Doctors and Governments stop convincing people that they are victims and then point the finger at those who oppose them in order to create division. Many wonderful people like you have dreams like this, but it can take just one self centred evil person of influence to take those dreams away.
