This is from the London riots a while back, pretty much everything was getting smashed up and looted

this song was a comment on the london riots. a black kid called mark duggan was shot by police and it sparked riots up and down the country for 3 days.

In 2011 a young man (Mark Dugan) was killed by police whilst they tried to arrest him. This led to crowds coming to help the boy and his friends and more police coming to fight them off and "control" the situation sparking a full-on riot. The riot led to a UK-wide crime spree where many people looted major shops and burned down buildings and cars. This song and music video using footage from the nearly week-long riot and is somewhat ironic as I believe he was working on the song before the riot happened so it became the perfect imagery to rail against police and UK politics. The event is highly politicised in the UK as you could imagine

riots started around London due to the police killing of Mark Duggan. this is the the title of Plan Bs film, Ill Manors, a film about crime in inner london.

He talks about it in the song. The London riots happened because the city spent billions on a bid to get the Olympics and build Olympic Village while the city was dealing with record highs in poverty and unemployment

The guy who threw the jab is John Prescott, who was acting Deputy Prime Minister at the time. He was walking down the street and someone hit him with an egg, so he punched who he thought it was. The punch did more damage to his career, compared to the fella he hit!

Plan B is a super talented artist from London. He primarily makes music, each album highly different from the last, but he is also an actor, film producer and director. The UK you may be familiar with is a facade offered up to tourists. Believe me when I say there are many parts of the UK you would not want to be after dark. It often makes me laugh that Americans seem to think we live in this quaint little suburb called the UK. In my opinion the UK HH scene is very strong right now, you are touching the tip of a pretty big boom bap inspired iceberg over here!

Ok urban safari is a flippant term u used to describe an adventure contained within a city.
