This is just marketing name. If they try sell the typical American hot dog, it wouldn't be that well received. These seem more like Brazilian hot dogs where you don't even see the hot dog because all the toppings. However, Brazil isn't known for its hot dogs (which are good).

It's interesting to see other countries' takes on "American style" cuisine and see how different it is from actually being in America, lol. Still looks really good though. BTW, we just call it a "cheese dog" over here, not "cheese hot dog."
