You girls made my day... I laughed my gut out that my wife woke up thinking something is wrong with me. Parle G biscuits are famous now and forever but we usually dip in plain milk. The expression while eating sesame was priceless. One tip, since your taste buds are on sweeter side try "Gulabjamoon " it is the best sweet of India. Try to get freshly prepared rather than packed food. Cheers

That last sweet is mostly cardamom flavoured and it is nearest to cotton candy. Now you can get it in whole lot of different flavours from chocolate, butterscotch, orange and many more. But the cardamom is the classic one.
@rohanprakash6 жыл бұрын
It's rose. Every time you taste something in Indian that tastes or smells like soap to you it's rose flavor. All my american friends always make the same comment.

I like the pure clarified butter soan papdi and aalo bhujia. It's natural that u don't like some Indian snacks bcz u are not habitual of them but we are. So will love all these. This is same in our situation too. We even don't like some of ur snacks bcz we are not habitual of them and it's obvious. So all the cultural foods are good of every country depend upon what they are habitual of and they eat from childhood and what they didn't eat. 🙂🙂

Soan papdi.. Its made up of gram floor and has a flavour of cardamom. You got the cotton candy thing right.. its supposed to melt in your mouth and if it feels hard or chewy then u should know its not fresh. Some indian flavours are really unique.. like sweets made of gram floor.. u have to cultivate a taste for them. My absolute favs are Soan papdi, besan laddu and kaju katli.. Try those. Also the sesame balls u tried are really hard.. I myself have a hard time with them. Try sesame chikki... they are softer and easier to bite but have similar but better flavour.. u also get peanut chikkis.. try those too.. you'll like them better than sesame balls i'm quite confident.

Hey, by the way, much as parle - g biscuits have been around for more than 40 years... biscuits are not actually the typical traditional snacks... all the other snacks you ate taste better and authentic if they are bought at proper sweet and savoury shops...instead of the packaged ones...packaged ones, after all, will, i am assuming, have preservatives and such artificial add ons.
