I respectfully disagree. I know Fury has boxed lower boxers in between the big fights but his Klitschko win is better than Joshua’s and the Wilder trilogy is the best two heavyweights of their generation going toe to toe. I suppose he could have fought decent boxers like Parker, Takam and Pulev but he would have beaten all of them and he wouldn’t have been knocked out by Ruiz Jr or beaten comprehensively twice by Usyk either

@@tbob1927 the equivalent to what have said is me saying I'm the greatest boxer of all time cause I dont need to fight anyone cause I know I could beat them 😂😂 the funniest excuse I've seen from a wilder fan as to why wilder hasn't beat top ranked opponents 😂 you say the 2 best of their generation yet wilder has only accomplished being the wbc World champion in over 40 fights as a pro yet aj and usyk have accomplished a lot more in a lot less fights than wilder.. and lets not forget wilder didn't want to fight whyte and didn't want to fight aj thats even though his own motto used to be 1 face 1 name 1 champion but rejected the undisputed fight 😂

“Both had a right to claim victory [in their first fight.” Absolutely not. If you watch the fight, you’ll see Tyson dominated from start to finish. Yes, Deontay had a couple of good knockdowns… but those 2 brief moments were _all he had_ . The rest of the 12 rounds consisted of Deontay getting schooled.

No. Look at Fury going into the first 1st fight. Recently lost a TON of weight, was suicidal, non-stop drink and drugs, yet still schooled Wilder. You remind me of some of the review channels here who eventually broke down and revealed they just won’t accept Fury is better because he’s white.

Honestly I could see Deontay being given one or two rounds. I can't remember the fight in fine detail but I do remember a lot of Tyson's offense hitting the gloves and being ineffective. I still think Tyson deserved the win, but I can see the argument for the draw and in hindsight it gave us a very entertaining trilogy so I'm not complaining.

I myself am from morcombe (Tyson's home) and I was on the brink of suicide too, I was an alcoholic even when tyson beat Klitschko. Have been a boxing fan since 8 yo. Mike tyson mid 80s got me into the sport. But people say it's a weak era now compared to 70s and 80s. But watching a home town boy go through what he did. Ballooning to 400lbs having to lose all the weight, suffering with metal health issues, and still coming through the other side victorious, inspired me to change my life. I owe my life to tyson fury, hes bigger than boxing, I don't care what anyone says. He has helped so many people outside of boxing, just by coming back from the darkest of places. He has an inner steel that not many fighters show. He would have given any great from the past a hard test. I don't have heroes, don't believe in them, it's down to you, but tyson fury is as close to a hero that I've ever had. Thanks for reacting to this lads.

The Fury story is inspirational. World champion who descended into suicidal depression with drink and drug addictions. He didn't fight for 2.5 - 3 years, his weight ballooned to something like 30 stone, he was washed up, finished and barely staying alive. He then got on top of his demons and came back to boxing. He had to warm up fights against taxi drivers and then went in against Wilder who was considered the biggest puncher in the division. Wilder had been world champion for years but had consistently fought nobodies so no one knew how good he actually was. Well, everyone knew that he was technically poor but no one knew just how dangerous his punching power was. He had been earning chump change for his title fights as he was basically unknown outside the boxing world (due to fighting nobodies and presumably poor promotion). Anthony Joshua was the rising star of the heavy weight division and was working his way to uniting all the belts. He was fighting in front of 80,000 people each fight and earning 8 figure pay days. Wilder spent a year or so chatting shit about AJ whilst constantly ducking the opportunity of fighting him. He selected Fury because he thought(to be fair, like most of us) that Fury was easy pickings for him. He'd get a big name on his resume for easy work. The first fight Fury, despite it being his first meaningful fight in 3 years, took Wilder to school. He got knocked down twice but other than that he won every second of the twelve rounds. How it was scored a draw was scandalous. In the second fight he really showed Wilder up, beating him around the ring like he was a cuddly toy, knocking him down numerous times before Wilder's corner ended his misery. Wilder really showed himself up after the fight by being a horrendous loser. He blamed everything but himself for the loss: his costume was too heavy. His water was spiked. Fury had loaded gloves. His team cheated him. As far as I'm aware he still hasn't accepted that he was beaten fair and square and the better man won. Even enforcing a third match where the same thing happened.

From alcoholism, cocaine and suicidal ideation to that is one of the greatest sporting stories of ALL time. Ali coming back after prison as 'No Vietcong ever called me N******' Was also there; those 2, to me, are the giants of sport and not because of their size. I've watched the first fight many times, and he won every round apart from the 2 he got knocked down in. Remember, the Undertaker is WWE and fiction; that was real life. Then going to KRONK and training KRONK style has made him almost impossible to beat, I don't see anyone beating him. He'll retire undefeated. What he has done for me with mental illness too to show you you can come back is as inspiring as what Ali did. What a guy.

The most anticipated fight Is Fury v Usyk however Usyk doesn't seem to want this fight in my opinion because he is scared of sacrificing his undefeated record but I believe that Usyk is currently right now the only boxer possible of beating fury

Usyk is a great boxer for sure but imho Fury would be a bridge too far for him. Fury is a natural heavyweight, whereas Usyk is a blown up cruiserweight. Both have great boxing ability but the size difference will be the deciding factor. I can honestly see Fury taking him out early. Let's hope we get to see it happen, it will be a cracking fight if it does.

Got to see the third fight too. How Wilder stopped in that fight for so long was a miracle, he was totally out boxed and dominated from the first second, yet what a warrior Wilder was.

They had a third fight and tyson fury won again. Tyson was world champion before he had 2 years off and put all of that weight on My friend knows fury cousin and furys dad grew up in Doncaster near me so he's in the area quite often. I ended up being on a night out with fury and his group on mad friday before Christmas just after he won klitchko because my friend was out with fury cousin I wasn't a fury fan back then but I was drinking his grey goose vodka so I felt the need to shake his hand and congratulate him on the win. Since he came back from depression he grew on my massively And now I think he's inspiring

For full context i feel like the video didn't explain to someone who wouldn't know just how different the fighting styles were here. Wilder was a guy that had 41 knock outs in 42 fights before fighting fury. Nobody thought he was a great boxer but he was the 1 punch man. Tyson Fury had won the world titles boxing on the back foot he moved arpund alot was hard to hit wasn't in any way aggressive didn't have a good knockout ratio but he was technically amazing. Then tyson put on about 150lbs was weighing over 400lbs and drinking heavily, snorting cocaine and threatening to drive his ferrari into a bridge for about 3 years. Then fury came back did what he did well and out boxxed wilder but he still didn't win so Fury came into the 2nd fight saying how he was going to come forward and knock wilder out and nobody believed it. And then well he kind of did it or was well on his way to doing it when wilders team threw the towel in. Then there's the 3rds fight....

I went to that second fight it was amazing. The night before the fight in the MGM was mental. No American fans arrived until Saturday so the Friday was all Brits and Irish. I reckon the crowd was 65-35 in Fury’s favour.

Been a fan of fury since day one, I still remember his first few fights, with his floppy hair and softer voice haha. Guy is soooo good, can fight any style, heart of a lion and a true Mancunian 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 there third fight was amazing also you need to check that

Completely off topic of the video. I recently watched an episode of WILTY US, the one with Richard Kind, it wasn't as bad as I imagined but it's not even close to the UK version. I never even knew that you had it over there until you mentioned it so I was curious

You saw a very short verison of the first fight. Tyson getting up was only a small part of it. The real story was he out boxed wilder the whole fight, and won all the rounds bar the ones wilder got luck in, with a sinlge swinging lucky punch. The result really was crazy. Wilder has very poor professional boxing technique, so the second and thirdy fights were no surprise at all. I dont think they needed a thrid one. BTW the vast majority of Tysons career was before he got fat. 27 fights before wilder i think. He only had 33 in total.

Lol imagine if there *was* overtime in boxing. Guess that's one way to bring the 15 rounds back. I actually thought Tyson would lose the rematch, because I didn't know he had it in him to completely reinvent his boxing style. Which was astonishing to see the second time around. You see fighters make adjustments all the time, small adjustments and different timing, but you almost never see a fighter come in looking like an entirely different boxer. That was amazing.
