That there is an AFM 82-70 Pinspotter

How is that machine in spec? Look how far the pins are off their spots after the initial 1st cycle spotting. My boss would have been **pissed* back in the day if he saw a machine that badly misaligned.

In terms of AMF, it’s a Pinspotter

@@_obiettivi4salute_47 Brunswick own the term "Pinsetter" first before AMF could use it. So, AMF used the term "Pinspotter" for their machines.

@@lambo_90 Yeah but there are people doesn’t like to use that “Pinspotter” term lol

@@lambo_90 I don’t think Brunswick would care if they took pinsetter if AMF chose pinspotter that doesn’t mean Brunswick didn’t want them to use it they would be annoyed if they used the same name for there models.

May anyone explain how the AMF pin holders work? It doesn’t have grippers like the GS SERIES.

It looks like the pin holders are the exact shape of the pins to hold them securely as they rotate downward to set them on the lane. As they are being placed, the deck holding the pin holders appears to slide rearward slightly to release them, before rotating backward again as the pin spotter lifts to the parked position (up) to begin loading new pins. It has action that is similar to the AMF 82-30 series, in that the pin holders on those older machines moved rearward as the pins were being set, to leave them standing, then swung forward again, as the pinspotter moved upward to its parked position to load more pins. GREAT VIDEO!
