I have been seeing so many amish homes being auctioned off the past few months. I take pictures when I am down there so I can remember the simple life as it was. And to remember that I went there to drive around for the peaceful place it is. Thanks for sharing.

Enjoyed your video of baling & stacking on the wagon. Growing up on the farm I remember doing the same thing for my father. Later on my father purchased a bale wagon & it made our job a lot easier .

Amish life is controlled by legalism and tradition. Limited education is also a way of control. The worst is shunning or the use of the bann as a way of forcing people into submission. However the saving grace is the number of Amish becoming saved and realizing what it means to be free in Christ and they are stepping away from false doctrine.
