Squeeling boars hitting trees and fighting actually terrified at around 10 pm at the end of the day finishing up checking the trials.

I was once camping alone on a hunting trip. i just got settled for the night, and in the distance, i heard someone screaming for help. Keep in mind that i was in the middle of nowhere, Nevada . I did not go to check the screaming thing.

As an old lady living in the woods I learned to never assume. It could be a bear. Or not. And always listen to your dog

I live in Australia and I'm 62 years old. Magpies, spiders, snakes, drop bears, dingos and much more. All of them trying to kill me and that's just the first hour.

Dont sprint from a big cat, they are ambush predators so you want to look at them, try to look big, and walk away while making sure it knows you know where it is. Sometimes they are protecting babies so it may be braver and keep following you and trying to be intimidating back. But you dont want to give it easy access to the back of your head and neck. So make sure it knows you know its there

The amount of people who go camping but aren't brave enough to look out of a flimsy tent, willing to potentially die quietly, is kind of... Insane. Also, on the comment of mountain lions, if they can see you seeing them... You're pretty much safe. Never turn your back on them though and Do NOT Run, narrator. Lol

Big cats can attack. Especially if they are in an area that has recently started being developed so their food has often been chased away (it’s like this where I grew up). Also, the guy chasing after the bear with a stick, a bit risky, but he’s got the right idea. If it’s a black bear, anyway. The best way to deal with them is to make yourself as big and loud as you can, it scares them off. Unless it’s a mother with cubs, of course. But also, never EVER run away from a predator. EVER. This just makes them chase after you, cause it’s their natural instinct.
