First released in 1973 by Ertl -- which later bought AMT from Lesney (Matchbox) -- this 1972 International Transtar kit has been retooled and updated by Round 2 and re-released under the AMT brand. It's a huge kit with loads of details, and includes some awesome bonus literature. Like the old kit, this new one is a collector's dream -- and a great value. About Round 2 LLC: The company was founded in 2005 by the owner of 'Playing Mantis' toys -- a very successful slot-car company, among other things -- who also owns the rights to Hawk, Lindberg and Racing Champions. After signing licensing agreements with Ertl in 2008 to market AMT and MPC kits, Round 2 obtained full rights to both brands and their molds in 2012. Differential! It's called a differential! 🤪 Check out my Scalemates to view projects, albums and the full stash: www.scalemates.com/profiles/m...
