A lot of people don't understand how songs that are dark can be therapeutic to people that just want to have someone say what we are feeling. Doesn't need to have the answer to our sadness, anger, or anxiety. We may just want to know we aren't alone or need clarification of our feelings.

You're not the only one. About 3 months into the lockdown when I was feeling very down, especially That's The Spirit & amo brightened the mood tremendously. It might be I've only been a fan for about 6 months, but they have no doubt become one of my new favorite bands! An hell so many bands say they'll go in a more pop / electronic oriented direction, but few pull it off as authentically as these Sheffield blokes 😎

@@dub7122 I did take the time to listen to their entire catalog throughout the summer. To be honest the first two deathcore albums aren't that great. However Plagues is a weird guilty pleasure, and the instrumental 15 Fathoms is so beautiful. I wouldn't say There Is A Hell / Heaven is perfect, but a majority of it is really solid no doubt. Sempiternal and onwards since Jordan joined is f*cking perfect though! Spirit just has to be my favorite album from them regardless, with the dreamy synths of Oh No making it their best song in my ears 😎

BMTH are one of the greatest bands ever. I love every one of their albums however I have a soft spot for SS and TTS. They’re ahead of the game and because of that, lots of bands try to copy them, but then they change it up again and show they still can keep it original and write amazing music. This new sound they have is truly special. Can’t wait for the ep. It literally comes out in 2 minutes for me lmao. It’s 11:58 😂 I can’t wait! 🤘🤘

I used to think she was a really really good artist, and one of my favourite voices in music, but now that I’ve recently seen more of her personality, like in this interview, I think she’s one of the coolest people out there.

That’s probably another reason why she loves it so much. Evanescence is trying new sounds, that’s why their songs don’t sound the same and that’s perfectly okay.

An artist's song doesn't need to "sound" just like an old album of there. Artists can explore different sounds throughout their career and expand their sonic scope, which was Amy's intention since she started Evanescence in 1995. Sad that some people get stuck on only one sound.

All of us, Fans and Artists alike, have grown too accustomed to the DROP moment. DROP the 'album'! BUY the 'album'. (sorry, I date back to that time) but I'm not so sure that the artists these days are not that much separated from those days and their marketing rhythm has now been overcome by their fans WISHLIST due to this hellish pandemic. Game changer. Honestly it is a game RETURNER. Us fans chase after the latest efforts of our artists. If Buddy Holly or Elvis Presly had our era of social media then they would be in the same spot as Amy, Lzzy, and any assortment of other popular musicians in 2020. Serious fans don't care how rough it is, we just wanna hear where are favorite musicians are at in their creative process. Yeah, I know, not all fans are going to be at all even friendly to the offered weak attempt...yeah I get that. Musician fans and serious audiophiles...we care and are willing to listen through that growth process. Who knows, maybe even our own musical insights might influence the growth of a song! I would LOVE to find any reference to an idea I had on a liner note. Amy and Evanescence along with a fuck ton of other artists have gone beyond the pale with their efforts to support their fans during this pandemic and I fuckin LOVE IT! The Collabs that are out there are amazing. I hope you guys continue to reach out and continue these collaborative efforts! Music is about expression. Finding those outside our worldview to collaborate with only extends our\your musical expression. Keep on keeping on. **I** love it. Can't speak to rest of our miscreant brothers and sisters.

Why is it that both of her voices are lowered 1 key down? Amy's voice and this interviewer voice are higher pitched, I changed the sound in my laptop with settings in Sound and changed the key 1 tone higher and it sounds like it should, usual Amy voice and the interviewer voice aswell sounds normal, not all low and weird like in this whole video
