Couldnt have said it better Missy. I was enjoying her amazing voice, even though she was obviously messed up. Not too many musicians can sound this good when they are drunk or high--I'll sure give her that. I totally LOVE her backup men,the way they dance and do backup vocals. They rock! Kinda makes me wonder if those dudes and her band ever got embarrassed by her vocals when she was drunk...they seem to work a little harder backing her up. Just a thought...dont mean to be rude. The lady is an amazing singer. I wished she wouldnt have passed away.

Amy is not "tweaking out", or "drunk" at all in this video. This is her natural movements and her emotional reactions, to the music. I saw her live about 50 times, in America and England and all over Europe. And she went on stage nearly always sober. She was utterly amazing live. I am only commenting, because it gets tiring seeing people so focused on finding fault in her. Rather than simply being enthralled by her amazing voice and presence.

Simon Williams it was someone that drove her to drink and do drugs did u just listien to the song she just sang u need to listien it again obviously she just showed how much she was hurt Blake did that to her if u have ever been in love you would know how it feels and the love that she had for him that he didn't want drove her to this she drank away the pain and whatever else she did if u watched all the videos about her u would know her drinking and drugs took a horrific turn for the worse when he left her and then there's an interview u can quote me on this she said " I wrote these songs when I was in a bad place ( she was talking about back to black and all the other ones) and having to sing them every night brings back those same mind sets and I relive those times" imagine all those emotions coming back to you every time u sing those songs and you have to sing them over and over and over every night and day of your life and I have been in love with someone who went back to the person she was dating I know frist hand how it feels and every time I see her I relive those emotions of her leaving and I drink and when your drunk the pain is gone and people always say "when your sober the problems comes right back " they do that's very true but that time that it wasn't eating away at you and killing u slowly was like heaven and u would never understand unless u know that pain it wasn't her addiction that killed her Blake killed her I know people say it's nobody's fault but your own but when your trying to escape the feelings that someone else is making u feel u and if your really emotional like I am and she was obviously. anything to take the pain away u want weather it's drugs and alcohol or whatever u use to make yourself happy u will do it to try to make the pain go away and u can talk about it was an addiction and it was nobody's fault but hers or whatever you are going to say buy at the end of the day she died trying to take away the pain Blake inflicted on her and I know how that feels cuz I have got alcohol poisoning alot of nights from trying to get away from the pain she caused but it's looked at by other people as I use a traumatic event to be drunk all the time but u wouldn't know how it feels and u wouldn't understand unless something has happened to you left you so hurt u will do ANYTHING for the pain to go away so stop saying it was her addiction or whatever she couldn't help it just how I can't because the pain hurts so bad all u can think about is it and that's like being imprisoned in your own mind but it's an "addiction" most every person with addiction something happened to them that drove them to that so you can shut up with all that addiction shit !!!!!!!
@danielvickers27039 жыл бұрын
Simon Williams and you were addicted to drugs u know how it feels and for your information he introduced her too drugs so of corse she would be at the highest point of her addiction when she was with the person who introduced her to drugs dumbass and he said himself she got worse when he left her so stfu and I know those songs her hurt because if u just watch that video u could see it all in her face what singing that song was doing to her and her manager said she would drinking heavily when it was time for her to go on tour and perform so obviously they hurt her to sing them so instead of trying to prove your point about your drugs and addiction you should know your facts about her and her music because I have watched some much stuff on her I could write a book and if u watch that video u would see when she said " your smile was so inviting and he kissed my check with his finger tips " the look on her face showed how much pain she was in so stop trying to make everything about you and see that this women's problem was him so before u go off and try to make something about yourself you should see another person's cry for help which she just showed for u in that video
@danielvickers27039 жыл бұрын
Simon Williams well u should have said that frist and u don't have to feel bad for me I know what my problem is and a drunk man tells no lies have u ever heard that it quite true so how I feel right now and what I'm saying is exactly how I would feel and respond if I was sober but I'm done arguing with you because what caused her addiction was him he started her too it so he was her down fall it wasn't what she did to herself it was what he did too her literally because I called my closet fried and he said the same thing I'm saying and other people are saying it read the comments own down on this video your the only one and the other assholes saying it was all her fault but whatever I'm "drunk" or whatever but I know I'm right and your not so I'm done

This was v2008 and I was in the crowd. I felt her pain and she was mourning very publicly at Blake being emprisoned at the weeks leading up to this performance. I’d seen her at the Isle of Wight festival the year before so it was a shock to see her obvious health decline at this show. She was grieving and some of the crowd were being mean to her. I will never forget this moment and the overwhelming urge to go and hug her ❤️🌹 Still love and miss her to this day. What a unique and rare gem she was 🦋

By judging the way she looked in this performance, I can tell that it was one of her last live performance before her unfortunate death. You can clearly see that she's not okay. She can't even pronounce some of the words and looks like she was going to pass out any minute. She has/had a huge number of fans, but couldn't someone just helped her? She obviously needed the help, it breaks my heart watching her like this. RIP Amy🙏🏼

JodieeHart I don't think movie showed evertything about Amy, a lot of stuff is missing, some factual misstakes were made... But movie was touching... I would reccomend reading Mitch's book about Amy... Mitch described every point of her life (He may or may have not pushed himself as better guy rhan he actually is idk)

+7614 Winehouse Well I think everyone can agree that this particular song taps into quite allot that was "Wrong" . Everything about how it comes out of her tells anyone listening that yes , Something was wrong. Her heart got broken. There is some justice in the fact that this amazing Anthem will haunt a certain someone for the rest of his days on this planet. Yes thats kinda been done before by different artists (Stevie Nicks comes to mind) but once you have some idea of what was going on in her life at the time this Song and how it pours out of her is absolutely haunting.
@elenikiroy8 жыл бұрын
+JodieeHart That's actually not true. You just made that up. She was not nervous in front of large crowds, and has specifically said that in interviews. She was in a very bad way on the stage above, and it is distressing to watch. And yet the performance is all the more powerful for that.
@gregory48278 жыл бұрын
+JodieeHart she wasn't on drugs during this perform and she was going through withdrawl and they still made her go up even tho she had stage fright and bad anxiety

Weather she was high or in withdrawal here is irrelevant. Infact, if she was(she most likely is), then it is a even bigger testament the passion and soul she put in her music. Even here in obvious withdrawal she sounds amazing.. that voice my god. I don't think i will ever get over her death.. so young ..such passion.. so unique.. such an angel.The only thing about her music that is even more important then her voice, is the soul she put into it. All the devils she had to fight with all her life. I really hope you are at peace now Amy. But those of us left behind will mourn for years to come, if not our entire lives. As im writing this my eyes are getting watery again..
@lilmsdrummer9 жыл бұрын
I highly doubt she was in withdrawal here, she seems definitely loaded. With alcohol and opiate addiction withdrawals, the sufferer in the deep throes would be uncontrollably sweating bullets, extreme vomiting and diarrhea (you're welcome) ;). And with the amount of alcohol her family said she consumed, she would almost definitely have seizures and confusion while withdrawing, which wouldn't have allowed her to play more than likely, she probably couldn't even remember her lyrics in that state. Anyway, she was amazing and I feel like the world lost an absolute legend. Every time I listen to her songs, I feel so sad thinking about what amazing songs she could have written in the future. Songs we could be listening to right now. This is heartbreaking to watch though. I hope her soul is at peace and she feels no more pain.
