Auckland Tramping Club Interim Trip - March 2024
If the stars aligned the plan was to spend as much time as possible on the tops of the Ella
range, Spenser mountains and Zampa tops.
Unfortunately they weren't and we spent the majority of our time tramping along the
valley floor waiting for the heavy dump of snow to melt from day three.
Once that started to melt we had high winds on the tops which permitted us only one
night on the tops before we had to walk out.......
