GTA VI will be massive as I don’t think It would be this easily disappointing because I have seen it in RDR II on how real and lively that game felt which the same might go for GTA VI on how far it can push the limits in making a game world that feels real and lively.

The upside to this though is that 2026 will be absolutely stacked. Not only will we get to enjoy GTA 6 but everyone will have plenty to look forward to in 2026.

Rockstar announced gta 5 in 2011 it released in 2013 rdr 2 announced 2016 released in 2018 so typical Rockstar announcing games 2 years before release with gta 6 announcement in 2023 so its probably releasing in 2025 because typical Rockstar announcing games 2 years before release

While I am a fan of gta I an also a fan of the resident evil games which I know we where spoke to be getting an announcement this year I hope God they are not in the competing window with gta even if they are I still will buy both and play both I need to know when the ps5 pro drop !! That announcement is taking forever

All I know is MH Wild's better release next year because not everyone plays GTA anymore. I know I don't so these studio's better release their games earlier next year then and don't use GTA as an excuse to why your not releasing your game when there's 12 month's in a year. 👀

What is strange is that yes, lots of people will be getting GTA6, but also lots of gamers won't be getting it (that will always be the case no matter how good a game is - we all have different game types), or not getting it day 1 - especially if the price is excessive. I can imagine there will need to be a fine balance to keep others not competing but also try to pinch a bit of the market for people not getting the game. If too many games don't release for a prolonged time (so they don't clash), then there could actually be a window for people who want to play something that isn't GTA6
