She technically is the game's OP character. Her weapons are at almost every point the best. She also is the only one capable of reliably stat farming. Her conformer is easily broken. And Doom of the living is ridiculously cheap with little effort. Partly in due to her weapons being good. She pops a level 3 limit faster than almost anyone else and it does significantly more damage than almost anything else (Ungarmax is the only one capable of doing more, but Barret is limited by his weapons and needs more punishment to hit a level 3 limit) She can also do a quite quick Overflow glitch without farming for much. Just get W-item (for hero duplication) Conformer and All creation. You have a 15% chance just with that and no farming to get overflow on all creation on Emerald. Tifa is a close second with the OP status, running the early game rampant with powersoul, but if you're not doing a speedrun, Tifa's OP status is quickly overshadowed.

When I was pretty young I accidentally beat all forms of Sin in FFX with Shiva alone. She has been one of my favorite summons ever since. So I totally get where you're coming from!

@@dragames If you go straight to Wutai after Rocket town and get the magic shuriken Yuffie is set, 64 base damage and a hidden +10 Dex as well. Doom of the living unlocks relatively fast too it did over 5k damage on Jenova life on my most recent playthrough.

Yuffie honored Aeris' death as a warrior first, then, still being a 16yo kid, she breaks and hugs Cloud..... it really showed Yuffie as the sensible kid she is.

@@j.l.3685 This thing missed some stuff too. Originally The girls were Yuffie and Aerith. Yuffie was the bartender/ex-soldier/headhunter. Aerith the childhood friend. Remember in the video where they said "Yuffie's stats changed depending on the last wanted poster before you found her"? Those were changed to be Turtle's Paradise fliers. You'd have to play the game 3 times to see all her limit breaks. One of them she was 'summoner-esque' and summoned a dolphin (Leviathan came from Wutai) as well as some other summon-like abilities. Choco/mog seems to have been possibly one of those as well. When they made Tifa, they took aspects of both Aerith and Yuffie to make Tifa, and Tifa got Dolphin blow. Also, Beat rush seems to have come from Yuffie where she punches with her Shuriken guard.. The game's story got rewritten a lot due to lots of different additions. Like "who's going to die, barret, Cid or Aerith?" Barret was black and they thought that too insensitive. Cid's 'going to space' arc hadn't been seen in the point of time and they wanted to throw that one in towards the game's end, so they were left with Aerith. Yuffie would have started off as the 'other ff7' girl before tifa was added in. Yuffie was significant in the original version because as an ex-member of soldier, she was privy to the Nibelheim information. She would have been the person Cloud would later talk to about what happened in Nibelheim, though Yuffie wouldn't remember him being there and assume he's telling the truth because she wouldn't have put much thought into who was there with her while Aerith would be the one to remember that she didn't see Cloud there (as Aerith in this version was going to be from Nibelheim). However, the one thing they really wanted to keep with Yuffie ended up in the end game. She is a child who never was allowed to be one and it holds her back. She tries to always act more emotionally tough than she actually is. When Aerith died, she is the only one to actually lose it, not even Cloud who apparently 'loves her'. FF7 had a theme about almost every character appearing one way and then actually being another. Reeve came off as selfish and manipulative, but really he had a strong heart just had no idea how to do the right thing until the opportunity was provided. Red XIII pretended to be more mature than he actually was and hold onto a grudge that he didn't even understand, when in reality he's scared of everything; losing grandpa, being the last of his race, going insane. Yuffie's rewritten relevance to the story grew in the sequels and prequels so I'm not sure about validating those.

@@TENNSUMITSUMA You can get bits and pieces from the FF wikia. However, I was semi obsessed with seeing the original scripts of the game and how they compared to the final product (and why). They used to have a full list of original scripts back on Squaresoft dot com but that website went down after the square eenix merger and for some reason, they never posted the original scripts for their games again.

I thought Cloud didn't get motion sickness. At least in his first flashback with sephiroth he says to a soldier in the car "I've never had [motion sickness]." I'm not all the way through the game yet, so mayb it happens later or something.

+Mike Esta Aqui It was even shown in this video. If you manage to get her date with Cloud (at the Gold Saucer instead of Aeris, Tifa or Barret) she kisses him on the cheek and then says that she just felt like it while Cloud just keeps silent.

totally true, except she is better than cloud XD cloud only has omnislash better than yuffie, but using yuffie to morph monsters is was more usefull !! My team has always been yuffie tifa and cloud. i used other chars only to see limit break ahhaha.

Yeah Yuffie's level is based on Cloud's level, but the table for it is kind of wonky, up to level 40 she is usually set to a few levels lower than Cloud, but then it abruptly drops off at level 41, where she will just be level 42 if Clouds level is anywhere between 41 and 99.
