Another call back to OG Charmed was the soldiers preparing to storm the room while Macy was running her blood test. Similar moment in All Hell Breaks Lose in OG season 3 when soldiers prepare to storm the hospital room Prue is in with Piper. I am confused why Macy didn't attempt to hold the door shut with her mind while waiting for the machine to do its work. It would have brought them the few seconds they needed.

I get what you're saying about "The tongue, the gorgon and the potion", but it doesn't really bother me. The scenes with Medusa were character development more than anything else. The Siren's tongue is used as a plot device. Which is not to say it was any less effective at making it's point. It ties into that idea of magic always having a price that they have been slowly building towards. The more powerful the spell, the more you're going to have to be willing to sacrifice. Sure you can brew such a powerful potion, but you're going to have to do shady things to get it done. Magic can give you exactly what you want, but you never know what it is going to take in return.

I really liked it! I criticised S2 a lot for being too gloom and taking itself too seriously. This episode had some humour which the show had been missing. It felt more like a S1 episode, which is good. It was just nice to be away from Safe Space and back in the manor for most of the episode. I'm really looking forward to the final 2 episodes of the story!

it's funny is this episode i was starting to ship jordan and abigail together. they make a interesting team on their side missions like this episode too. i think maggie needs to really get over parker before she can miove on. but if she wants too long jordan may end up with someone else like abigail. giving dark harry/jimmy a better life feels like a reference to me from once upon a time. they did that with the evil queen in season 6 when she split herself in two. and like dark harry regina couldn't kill the evil queen unless they were willing to kill both of them. but a very big coincidence if it wasn't. I'm glad Julian's finally seen the light. But I have a bad feeling Aunt Viv will user magic to make him forget what Macy showed him or kill him and turn him into one of the zombies. imagine macy having to face off against zombie Julian that would be hard. I loved this episode. it was great. it had good pacing and i wasn't even annoyed when they kept switching back between plots cause two of them were closely connected this time anyway. so it was more of jordan and abigail being their own thing and everyone else just divide and conquer. and fewer filler scenes to me. with a shorter 18 episode run we may get more plot and character development this season.. and the first 3 are wrapping up season 2 so we're technigally only getting 15 for a new plot. and am i the only one who thought for a second Julian's sister was going to be revealed to be a witch? when they revealed black amber doesn't heal humans. like it's a shame they revealed it was just a drug cause that would have been a twist.

That forbidden spell is SO going to bite them in the ass. Also, Julian's turnaround seems awfully quick. Is he tricking them? Hm. And who is Abagail's sister? I can't wait to find out.

If Julian interacted with other witches or Charmed ones while under the potion. He could say that “magic isn’t real” and they could forget their own powers

Episode was really good! I thought the same thing about Maggie's hair! Straight and too long was not a good look on her😁 loved the Hacy time! Although I wish they had a few romantic moments between the two. And the Jimmy foreshadowing is spot on!

I assumed that the sirens were dead for some time Also is it really any different from what we do you know going to the store and buying ribs or chicken breasts and wings and drumsticks Where animals get severed in chop shops basically lol It’s not really that different imo

I loved maggie’s powers...i wish we saw mel and macy’s powers in use but it was a really good episode. i also wish we got a promo for the next episode, i’m not liking the lack of promotion for Charmed.

I dont know if it's just me but the reveal of the sister being poisoned made Julian seem like a moron. I hope it's a long con to trick the heroes because if it's not, then he (in my opinion) was not needed in this series to begin with other than to bring tension to Hacy. Also just have Harry (THE WHITELIGHTER!!!!) heal the sister.

I know you like mysteries so it seems like ur jam It seems to have like a Nancy Drew 2020 vibe but for Disney channel It seems unique and it’ll have that classic wholesomeness Disney is known for

I don’t think she’s a Caine the sister is probably her sister from her mom and another man I don’t think she’s a caine But is her sister good or more evil If her sister is good then that’s an interesting dynamic Maybe that’s why she’s so irritated by the charmed ones when they try to save her because they remind her of her sister

We definitely got to see abby’s humanity a lot in this episode while yes she has her own agenda for now doing good will slowly become second nature for her if she keeps doing it I don’t remember if it was mentioned she had a sister I’m pretty sure it’s new info Is her sister good or more evil I knew Julian wasn’t evil he was manipulated and misguided I’m an Abby Stan for life I love the seductive way she calls him Jordy lol I get loki vibes from her Now I wish poppy drayton was cast as lady loki in the loki series instead dangit lol She does the loki vibe really well the mischievous nature but also the inner goodness
