Your videos are amazing. It was a great introduction for me to criticise social norms, especially about masculinity. I've become more aware of problems in our culture and pop culture. Feminism and all things related have become some of my favourite topics to talk about. Even though it might sound a bit overbearing I do can say with all honesty that your videos played a big big part in me becoming a better person. Not only do I care more about problems in our society, especially on gender norms, sexuality, sexism and masculinity but I'm also waaaay more content with who I am as a person and as a man. I've checked out bell hooks' 'The Will to Change' because of you and I've watched a bunch of other videos on the topics you discuss. In the years after I heard stories of boys copying this idea and even caught my own first boyfriend trying to film me without consent. It’s so damaging. This channel captured perfectly the break down of behaviour that I needed out in world as a young woman. Don’t copy that shit, create new healthy role models, feel, check in, be an equal, be kind. Hey Johnathan! I'm a 17 yr old and have a strong passion for cinema and the works behind the camera. This channel really makes me realize what messages are being put out in front of the camera to an audience. Really brings this kinda sad reality in cinema industry into perspective and awareness. I enjoy your videos because its a eye-opener and very factual but also enjoyable and entertaining because its somewhat educating. I also love your community in your comments and how people talk about things that they have come to a realization with or things they like to add on thats not negative or rude but respectful and understanding and also in some comment sections of videos I've seen people speak about experiences where it related to a video. I love those comments because it makes what you're stating in a video, real. Even though we know what you're stating in your videos are true, those experiences make it real. Anyways I just wanted to say I love your videos and I literally been on a streak just watching your videos and I've been so influenced and inspired to get into this industry and change what is being put out in front of a screen. Stay safe! New subscriber! Thank You for your beautiful videos!

This channel is amazing. The best I've seen on film, pop culture and in-depth dives on their sociological functions/ ramifications. I'd easily call these videos my favourite 'new content ' alert to see pop up on any platform. Rare (but top quality) as that may be. I'm so grateful to have come across this channel. Keep up the good work. Very much appreciate it. ❤👍

Hi! I just wanted to say I've started to support you on Patreon. I have never before supported anyone. But when I saw this video I just had to. Just for this reason, I think you do something of so much critical value and importance. The feeling I get after having watched your videos is something I can't quite right articulate. The only thing that's left for me to do is to send it to everyone I know, so they share this feeling with me. Anyway, I'm rambling. Just keep going you have my full support!!

My stars the editing is so beautiful here, the book opening to the train leading to the first film (i think? One of the first films) of that train coming into the station. I still keep revisiting your videos. They're poignant, carefully written, and I'm grateful for your work. I'm excited for your podcasts, and for the conversations you're aiming to start for the betterment of society. I appreciate you making this trailer and look forward to work on budgeting so i can help you do this.

I love your KZfaq channel and your videos are just great! 🙌 Congrats! 👏 Thank you for all the hard work and, specially, for helping me to open my eyes to reality. There were so many things I had in my mind for so long, but I was having huge doubts about them, you know, if they were true or if they were just part of my imagination (as many have said directly to me); I even thought I was the only one thinking and worrying about them. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this and that there are so many people who are just as concerned as me about the same topics. I hope more people get to know and support your work. You deserve it. 👍
