FILM DESCRIPTION:
Bill Johnson (Johnny Messner) leads a group of scientists (KaDee Strickland, Matthew Marsden, Nicholas Gonzalez, Eugene Byrd, Salli Richardson-Whitfield) into the jungles of Borneo. They are searching for the mythical black orchid, which can supposedly grant eternal life. Unfortunately, massive anacondas have been feeding on the orchids for years. When their boat goes over a waterfall, the scientists land right in the middle of the snakes' home.

The fact the snake was just dragging him through the water like a rag doll really showed it’s sadistic personality otherwise it would’ve just killed him as soon as it pulled him under.

I remember being so scared of this scene as a little kid because of the shot of the snake moving around them under the water . It is genius and skin crawling. But now as an adult it all gets thrown out the window when that gigantic CGI snake jumps out the water at lightning speed lmao. Regardless that one shot makes my skin crawl every time, it’s so good.

That bird's eye view shot of the Anaconda slithering through the water around them has got to be one of the most iconic shots in movies I've ever seen.
