i watched that whole episode of Hot Ones with a smile on my face, because of all the reasons you talk about here. we as fans know this was a big thing for him to do, that it makes him feel uneasy to have a spotlight (literally) on him. but he wants to come out more, he wants us to see who he really is, without all the bells and whistles. he joined us on Stationhead on monday evening, and he even told us that he wants to join more, if that's what WE want too (i think you could guess we would want nothing more HAHA!), cause he felt comfortable, just talking to us, hanging out with us. (Stationhead is a music streaming platform, and the host is almost like a radio DJ, so we didn't see him, but the way he was talking, laughing, and even singing a little bit, even though he didn't have the best mic available, it was just so wholesome) there are clips of the things he said around on X (AKA Twitter) but that's Zayn, just a normal dude genuine in his interest for other people. who really appreciates the support he's had over the years, and has gotten to a point where he just wants to give back, even though i personally feel like he's given us an awful lot already.

I think Zayn has sorted his head out..& has started talking about 1D..seem more comfortable in his own skin

I believe Sean made Zayn comfortable with asking him questions Zayn is comfortable with. Not the silly usual questions so many interviewers ask like Who they've dated or why did he leave 1D or anything about Gigi

unsure of if you already know or if someone's mentioned, but not only does Zayn have a history with things like anxiety, he also has ADHD, which could be another reason for his somewhat jittery mannerisms at times, which is just another reason why I personally find him so relatable. even without that piece of information I still think your analysis of him is very spot on and interesting, I think you really seem to get his personality which is very refreshing to see from a fellow neurodivergent introvert.

every time he does an interview its simply a delight. because of, like you said, his honest and unfiltered demeanor. such a warm and sweet person

Love watching your reactions…on the One D lads. Been following them for a few years. I still feel they fall back on their early media training…some more than others. Zayn and Louis to me are the ones who have opened up more, then Liam. To me they are still so young, I’m sure they will let their personalities shine through more in time. Louis has mentioned having two hats…a work hat and his Dad/private life one. Sure this is what they all do though. What a great group of lads they turned out to be though. 😊
