thank you so much. youre video literally solved my issues. this other video i saw the guy said to delete everything off the device. then he began looking up the exact same emulators and downloading them in from the ground up and some things werent lining up. im happy now. :)

Thanks for your kind words! The only way I know to rename them would be to put the sd card in your pc/laptop and manually rename them yourself 😊

@@the_yorkshire_gamer7042 Couple of weeks on and all sorted, thank you! Having Daijishō was a big help. Something you might be able to help with though!? After lovingly sorting out my games folders with correct names and 'deleting' dupes to one game, if I add a single ROM to a folder, I have to rescan the path, thus getting rid of all the renaming I do. So is there a way do you know, of adding individual ROMs, rather than having to scan the path every time and losing all the work you've done!

I did follow your instructions however the system only added a few games :( ...I am using the SD card that came with the anbernic do you recommend to copy data to another reliable SD card then try it again? Any advice?

Absolutely, the sds that are usually provided are cheap and are mass produced. I'd recommend getting a SanDisk or Samsung sd card for better reliability

Thanks, this was a lifesaver. Imagine that your utterly ignorant, like me. How would you know at the beginning even to swipe down on the touch screen? By some sort of extra sensory perception? And how would you know to press the button on the upper left of the unit? I didn’t even realize it’s there! Just fwy, I didn’t have to set up ps2 or 3ds, they were in there with games. But no GameCube. There are lots of other features on this device that leave me clueless; I’d love another vid but if you do, please go slowly and assume we know nothing! Thanks and new sub! PS Sexy Parodius for Saturn-mine didn’t work, game came up but I couldn’t figure out how to start it. Does yours work?

@@the_yorkshire_gamer7042 so you are using the stock game card that came with it? To transfer to a new game card did you need to use a disk imaging utility or just drag and drop? Also what format for new card, FAT32? Many thanks mate!

When you connect to WiFi, some of the certain android apps will automatically download the cover art. For the ones that don't (PS2 app) you will need to download the image art yourself and then assign the art to each individual game

When I click use for portable storage to set up the sd card it says it needs to format and it woll erase existing content on the sd card, yours didnt say that so im not sure what to do

It sounds like the sd card might be corrupted 😔. Have you tried putting the sd card in a pc or laptop?

The blue button is not showing at the bottom. It showed one time and after I clicked it and confirmed everything. It's not showing again

The only thing I could suggest is to fully reset the device. It should appear then. Please note that you will lose any additional apps you've downloaded to the device. All the preinstalled android apps will stay on it

@@sashs.9988 I'm glad it worked! The only way I know to download games directly would be to go to Vimms Lair on the browser and download them from there. You might need to set it to download to the sd card, or you should be able to move them across to the sd after if not.

Mate, I've watched thousands of reviews of the RG405V and none of them had that dark screen like yours. Even on the default settings. I reckon yours came with a dodgy screen, mate. Cheers!

I think the only other way would be to factory reset the device. But this will lose any settings and additional apps you have downloaded

I think the only way is to hard reset the device. You'll still keep all the android emulators and apps it originally came with

Man whoever setup the games on my card screwed me. Some are numbered, most names are acronymns and have no art. Cant tell what they are. That middle black button does not always work. It seems like it works only for specific systems (ps2, etc). Does not work for Neo. For Neo and others, you have to press Select+Start. You need to mention these little details. Overall I hate this Android crap. I have a Powkiddy that runs Jelos… waaaay easier to use, but it has tons of options that will also confuse.
