This is a review of the Ancel AD310 OBD2 Code Reader. It is a relatively small and lightweight OBD2 scanner that is also really easy to use. I like this OBD2 scanner because it has a very small learning curve and has a very simplistic design. It features 4 buttons, a cord, and a screen. I talk about it's main functions and features in the video, and demonstrate myself using it with my Mazda 3.

Good little easy to use good price scanner , got me out of a fix with my 2014 honda crv . Its half price of a diagnostic report at a garage and most of time the problem is a fairly easy fix for home mechanic! Great video .

It says cars made 1996 and newer, it should, there’s some for North American and other for Europe or something, jake make sure to get your compatible version

Forgot to mention, it would’ve been great if you could have showed actual trouble codes and how to clear after repaired but maybe on your next vid,👍

There is a clear codes option in the menu you click on and it will ask you if you’re sure. Hit enter to verify and it will remove any removable codes.

I bought one after reading this and it was a waste of money. I have a flashing engine management light, an obvious misfire yet no codes current or pending. An utter waste of time and money. Edit. I changed the ignition coils and that fixed it. Strange thing it I put the scanner back in to see if I could reset the engine light and it came up with the ignition coil fault I just fixed!!!! After one drive cycle I was able to turn of the engine management light. Strange one. So yes it does work even if after the fact. It may well be fine on most cars but there was obviously some sort of communication lack on mine.

On the back label it says: Works on all 1996 and newer OBD II compliant US, European and Asian vehicles. So if anyone has issues or it doesn't work it's either because your vehicle isn't compatible or it's older than 1996. Use the right tool for the right task.

i bought it for my husband ,it works great on our car ,however ,my brothers bought another one "AM3011",it is more cheaper and has the same function the AD310,i was a little regret to have bought this one .since it is more cheaper.

I know your in love with your voice and have a passion to be on KZfaq but for the rest of us we just want to know how to use this reader for engine light code #'s that's all can you tell me how to do this do I need my car on or off do I need to set it to something?? Oh just read should not have engine running !!!
