Ancient Egyptian Song (Coptic Folk)
it's new traditional Ancient Egyptian song style with new lyrics
the original pronunciation still spoken in only one village ( al zeniya,Luxor ) in the south of egypt and current egyptians still using some words of it mixing it with the current official language of egypt (arabic).
we are trying to show the world what is the original language and type of music that used to be played and spoken in the Ancient Egypt time.
lets save that great language and heritage by supporting this kind of music.
the music made, composed and sang by ABANOB.
Lyrics : MR.AHMAD ATTEYA.

@Black_Stone you are not the one to decide neither am i, but historical facts and science prove that all egyptian, either muslims or Christians, are decendants of ancient egyptians. So stop your racism and leave egyptians alone. We are already suffering from poverty, and we don't need more problems to care about. after you foreigners conquered us either arabs or greeks or romans or the Britishs or the frenchs, and tried to erase our identity and separate us from our grandparents and tried to enslave us and rob our land and then after you finally have left you are still now trying to steal our land once again, please for the sake of humanity leave egyptians alone, we have never done nothing to harm humanity

It's good to see someone is trying to preserve a critically endangered indigenous language. Coptic (Egyptian language) deserves more recognition as it is the original language of Egypt and has been spoken even before the Greeks, Romans, and Christianity came to Egypt.

@@user-xh7wg6yn5o Because the ancient Egyptians followed Coptic Christianity, right? The only thing that truly connects Coptic Christians to the ancient Egyptians, is the Coptic language, which, although is the latest stage of the ancient Egyptian language, it has a strong Greek influence. It utilizes a variation of the Greek alphabet, and over a quarter of its vocabulary is Greek in origin. Let’s get it straight tho. Coptic (Egyptian) is not a Christian language. It’s the language of all Egyptians. The Arabs conquered Egypt in 641 AD, and by 1000 AD the majority of Egyptians have already been Islamized, but Coptic remained as the official language of Egypt until the 1400s, and as co-official language until the 1700s. The reason why the language is preserved by the Coptic Church, it’s because at the time of the Christianization of Egypt Coptic was the official language of the country.

as a history student, i'm eagerly working towards the goal of reviving the ancient egyptian language (the work involves figuring out the phonemic values of the phonology of these times, and recovering the missing vowels of words). In that regard, pieces of media like this, which seem to hold at least some value of accuracy, are very important in order to preserve and advertise the culture descending from this civilisation. Truth and science will prevail

Coptic really sounds nice both religiously and without it. If this language is revived, I would really learn it. Definitely a beautiful language. This is wonderful, I'm trying to learn Coptic online with the amazing Chris Casey on Sahidic and I have now also joined another course, an introduction to the hieroglyphs themselves, i.e. of one of the stages of ancient Egyptian. So nice to see something secular being done by Coptic artists! Please, keep more of this type of song coming! I've promptly subscribed:-) Shared, and many thanks for this! Good job! Congratulations. In Europe we have two versions of latin, the one that has been used by the church for centuries and the classical and most genuine version that anyone interested in this language can learn. This second version is free from religious connotations. In my opinion, if you wish to revive this language, you need to create a standard modern version of coptic, a version as genuine as possible without all these greek words and give it another name, being coptic a reference for the christian version.
