Midori, the blonde guitarist is more outgoing on stage than Miyako, the dark-haired guitarist. Lovebites have what are considered real masterpieces, like Edge Of The World, Swan Song (with Chopin Intro), and A Frozen Serenade, all live. They really showcase the diversity of metal music this band can play.

While I have complained that Miyako is too stoic on stage for my tastes (she looks bored too often) I love her shoulder shrugs during her solo in this video. You can tell she is feeling the music, and enjoying the moment.

First you discovering JD, then SSS, and then taking a step back in the world of LOVEBITES for some epic live stuff from just before the pandemic. My friend I envy you! The distance in time between this concert and their new album besides the great EP "Glory, Glory to the World" was agonizing for us fans due to the pandemic itself and Miho the bassist playing here leaving the band and the future of the band unclear at the time. Fami, the new bass player, is fabulous which as you have already witnessed in the first two you did! I am reliving my first reactions to the band through you and many others' first reactions and I love it! Keep em coming! Yes, now you witness their ability. Imagine they play like this almost 2 hours concert. Epic, mindblowing and some of it became masterpieces. Respect all of them especially drummer, Haruna (the Little Big Engine). Asami-(The Only Voice)-vocal, Miyako(dark haired-The Golden Touch)-guitar, Midori(blonde haired-Crazy Shredder)-guitar and Miho (The Natural Head Banger)-former bass, Fami-new bassist since 2022 (think of her nickname 🤔). As many of us Wolfpack members will state firmly, this band will never disappoint and they are better LIVE where the crowd energy just feeds the group. I dare say as they played together more they defined flawless perfection especially LIVE. Try Scream for Me LIVE for an epic guitar war and a crowd gone nuts.

There are 200+ Rock/Metal bands in Japan, with nearly half all female. So you got some catching up to do. FYI, it's not the water, it's the culture. The Arts are taught in their schools with talent recognized early and encouraged. Japan is the #2 music market in the world, reportedly having more record stores than the US. Miho, bass left the band last year and they have a new bassist, Fami. Midori, blond ponytail, began guitar lesson when she was 20yo. After leaving pharmacy school. Miyako, black hair decided she wanted go into Rock/Metal at 18yo. Got a guitar and How To books, self taught. First riffs she played were from Metallica. Have not yet toured the US, Have toured Europe including with Dragon Force in Great Britain. Next - Band Maid - "Puzzle" They are touring the US right now, 10th anniversary year.
