You know when I traveld around by boat i discovered a new island which is now my property. It has beautiful beaches and a lot of fruit trees. Not to mention the neuatiful scenery the inland has. However i grew tired of said island since i lrather travel around. Which is why i am selling it for just 2,5 million pounds. Just write back and if you are fast enough you can have your own island.

This man s life was genuinely insane He was actually a military hero who saved his men, only to get most of them killed on his various expeditions (all of which he abandoned when they got too hard) Sold tickets to his “new” country with the promise that it’d be an easy place for seniors to retire and parents to raise kids. And his lie was so massive that the crew refused to believe the captain when he said that he couldn’t find the city on the island, then England refused to believe that the country didn’t exist, and he then repeated the con a dozen times across Europe (and at least Twice more in England) Before he went back home (where the previous king ordered him shot on sight) and reunited with one of the few soldiers he saved (and hadn’t then led to their death) who was important enough to get him full military honors, a pension, and decade of back pay
