10.14.23 Tonight Isreal is at War with Hamas. This concert I watched was so very touching this night. I think of these precious people whom God loves and what they are facing now in their lives I could not keep from crying as I listened to all the beautiful music you gave to them. Wonderful. As I listen (12/08/2023) I think of Hamas and the hostages. There may be someone in this audience who is now a hostage. I have tears in my eyes. I've been to Israel. I could feel the pride and enthusiasm of Israel's citizens. What an incredible place it would be wihout the cancer of hatred surrounding her.

I tried to talk to an Egyption once, about Israel. I said something like "if Muslims could swallow their pride and hatred, being in and around Israel would make so much economic sense. You could all get rich together. His reply was something like "I'll only be happy when we drive them into the sea." Okay, now try to negotiate. You have failed before you even start. If one side has one iron-clad rule that the other side must be killed, then there is nowhere to start.

As soon as they started to play Jerusalem of Gold, I cried and cried. I'm not Jewish, but there's definitely a connection there somehow, and I always get teary if I hear HaTikvah. They are an amazing people. 🇦🇺

One of the things that I have always liked, because I have perceived it, is the immense cultural background of the Israeli. He is a prepared person, extremely intelligent, who denotes a lot of wisdom and in this video I have seen people who love life, people who love their values and principles, people who have great artistic sensitivity. What a good idea it was to decide to see this entire concert, enjoy the moments of interaction with people and see that they have a smile on their face. This concert and the one in Bahrain are one of the best I have seen from André Rieu. Long live to you!!!

Music is one of the most significant art to bring together people without difference in religion, color of skin and race and you are a Master in doing so. What a thrill. I'm literally in tears. I follow his works and performances online. And they are amazing. What beautiful adaptations of familiar and beloved works. Lots of classic works have different adaptations. But not everyone touches your heart. Andrei makes the works touch the soul. With his smile and grace. Israel is my country. And I'm glad he came. And the rest of the residents are lovers of light classical music. The State of Israel is multilingual. There are lots of languages spoken ... Chinese, German, Russian .. and Arabic .. and other languages .. so it's easy to connect to music from all over the world.

Loved this concert. For me the best parts were the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah because in it our Lord Jesus was glorified. Then I was touched by the part about the holocaust survivors. That being said, I loved and enjoyed the whole thing. I am an Arab Christian and I also love the Jewish people.
