Me resulta imposible dejar de ver este vídeo, con una espectacular y joven soprano como Mirusia Louwerse en la increíble orquesta de Andre Rieu. Una popular canción que fue parte de una película: Mary Poppins y otra, el tema principal, por excelencia de la ópera EVITA, que recuerda a la mujer más amada, popular,inolvidable, pero también odiada por la clase poderosa, que hizo más por los pobres y los necesitados en nuestro país que cualquier gobierno de los que tuvimos y tenemos memoria. One of the most beautiful song ever written about Evita´s legagy. I can really say that, if those sweet and touching lyrics had an inch of truth, we´d have a complete different reality. Unfortunately since the peronismo bacame the leader party in my country, the corruption, the miserable conditions of millions of poors, increased on and on. She makes me want to BE one, especially her renditions of "Botany Bay" and "I Am Australian" performed during the orchestra's tour of that country. I am not Australian, I have never been to Australia, and I have no Australian relatives, but I cannot watch either of those performances by Marusia without literally crying. I can't understand how there could have been a dry eye in the audience there or, for that matter, at this performance of "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina." These are some of the very most powerful deliveries I've ever witnessed by a vocalist in my life!
