Universal Pictures added lyrics to two themes from this waltz for Deanna Durbin. The segment from 7:09 to 7:46 was used for 'The Viennese Waltz' in 'For the Love of Mary' (1948), and the theme from 3:05 to 3:37 was used (along with themes from two other Strauss waltzes) for 'Spring in My Heart' (1939). Ralph Freed wrote the lyrics for the latter piece.

No.no.no!!! The best and most beautifull waltz is " The second waltz " composed by Russian Dymitr Shostakovich. It is olayed by our Maestro Andre Rieu too !!!! Ols find it here on youtube. You will see that I am right,!!

I valzer di johann Strauss sono sempre estremamente trascinanti qualunque sia l'orchestra o il maestro. Certo certi maghi come vonKarajan o Carlos Klebe sono irraggiungibili nella veemenza dello spirito che mettono nelle loro esecuzioni. Però anche Rieu fa la sua brava figura malgrado non possa disporre di musicisti eccelsi come i Wiener o i Berliner.

Music is like a school rubric. There is stuff u have to do and if u do just that you will get a B; a good performance. But there is always the ten points for effort and creativity and you need those to get an A. Andre Rieu gets those ten points. He has an A
