Your rockfish fabric is literally everything. Theres something so incredible about that moment where your digitally-imagined picture becomes a high quality, shiny, real world object. So so compelling

Not that I could see a ton of your classmates fabrics but yours definitely pops out as being unique and bold, it was really lovely, especially your mockup of the living room at the end! Just the right amount of texture and patterns! I think you'd be great at making quilting fabric collections too!

I really enjoyed seeing the entire process from start to finish. This was a great subject to make into an entire semester video. Your designs are clever. I'm not as formal as Jacquard but I enjoy the whimsy of the fish. Your entire collection was cohesive and I loved the color ways.

Beautiful work! I don’t know why this got recommended to me, but I’m very thankful it did! Learning a bit about jacquard, and the technical and artistic process, and appreciating the Monterrey Bay influence as a fellow Californian, this video checked all the boxes! Though I think the twisting kelp design was actually my favorite, your rockfish fabric is stunning, especially on the table with the other finished fabrics. I’m excited to watch more of your videos to see some of your other work!

Once again you amaze me. Such an interesting process. I weave so this really struct a cord with me. Those fish are something. It is odd that you chose this theme. I wanted to crochet a lap rug. In picking yarn I found one with the color way of Tidal Pool. When I went to get more the color way was no longer available. One that was close was called Kelp. When I work on this lap throw I think of your fish and kelp stripes.

Seeing the final rockfish fabric took my breath away. Just the way the weaves all work together is magical. I love jacquard fabric (and Monterey), but I never knew how it was made until now. I am such a textile novice.

This was a super-fun one to watch, thank you. Love love love the grumpy rockfish. I really appreciate how you often draw on your passion for the marine world in your work. Also I loved your comments about weaving being “expressive design plus the technical kind of puzzle solving”… and “ I think that’s just like perfectly my happy place.” Those things make weaving my happy place, too! 😊

I loved watching this!! The fish design is just so cool, I would definitely buy something with that design🐟🤩 It's really inspiring to see you work, I'm currently going into 2nd year of textile design at univeristy. We had to pick an area to specialise in recently and I was soo torn between weaving and embroidery but I decided to go with embroidery however I am definitely going to come back to weaving whenever I get the chance! I just love too many forms of textiles, I would do them all if I could 😅🤣 can't wait to see what you create next!

I LOVE this collection so much!!! I'd definitely buy the funky statement couch in green! Jacquard seems so cool, I'm kind of bummed that my uni only teaches that if you specialise in weave. Although I'm aware that it probably looks more enjoyable when it's sped up 😂

Everytime I go to a fabric store I never find what I want! Making your own textile pattern seems like the perfect thing for making your own costumes, or making the perfect upholstery fabric design! How much does it cost per meter/yard to print out these custom designs from the miller?
