🥺I got my degree in Fashion Merchandising and Management in 2001. i didn’t get a job in the industry. I ended up working in a complete different field. Soon I’ll be retiring and returning to my first love ❤️ fashion.

I’ve been at a community college for a couple years pursing an A.F.A and I’m almost finished, but I wanted to go to a university, and recently learned about textile design which ties into an old childhood dream of mine. It’s so cool to see what goes into it all before I make a final decision, thank you for this video ^~^

The water spinning machine is mind blowing! And I love seeing your ideas come to life, watching the process is my favorite part: weaving, painting, tracing, printing, the process is always exciting and fascinating to watch, I wish you would show longer pieces of it sometimes

I’m a speech and language therapist and my dream would be to stop and to change career to live only out of my fiber work. I wanted to ask Is it possible for a textile designer to make clothes too? I absolutely love textile designing....but I love making beautiful clothes too. Is there any way I can be both fashion designer and textile designer??
