I would AVOID these Apps. Unless you enjoy getting used, abused, devalued, and of course... a whole lot of STDs i.e. HIV, Syphilis, Mpox. Up to you if you desire those....

Wow!!! You are just churning out these really great videos! I think this is the fourth video in a week! I'm definitely not complaining, since this is such a treat for your viewers! But maybe I'm not the only one surprised with how innocent these Grindr stories are? I was seriously expecting some juicy and shocking sex stories when I saw the word "Grindr." You're such a sweetheart, so you probably don't get yourself into those situations.

I'm always scared to try and make friends on grindr - I feel like the expectations are too different with most of the guys on there and I'd end up getting to really like the guy to find out he wanted something completely different lol. Being on the aromantic spectrum probably doesn't help, though...glad you got at least one good experience out of it, anyway! I'd love to see more sort of day-in-the-life vlog stuff, and adventure videos!

Thanks for sharing your stories and I admire your courage. I personally hate stranger dating. I really wish you could just ask and be like... are you well adjusted? ...are you sturdy? and just know. Life's messy though. Honestly out of all of your examples I'd pick the first guy that you ended up being friends with, plus you wouldn't have to worry about feeling guilty about not liking them or them not liking you. The woes of caring, fun stuff. Yep, I'd definitely take the friend you can laugh with at the movies!

And he's unable to understand what cruel it is to say "you don't know me..." at someone who is falling in love. I don't have a story of my own but a former roommate, who had an addiction problem, told a guy "I love you" after four days of dating. They met on a Grindr-like app, so I know it can happen. Needless to say that this guy stopped seeing him. My former roommate obviously had issues, that's why I ended up moving out of his apartment. Never heard from him again.

Me too. It's been nearly a year since the last time I talked to him. That time, he told me he wanted to spend a few months in rehab. I don't know whether it worked or not, but clearly his alcohol/drug addiction was temporarily replaced by this guy to the point of near depression. Anyway, based on that experience, you should be careful when someone says "I love you" too soon. You never know what you're getting into.
