what do you use for calls? the BT microphone connect in the car or the microphone with the unit?

Good question! I am not sure if the unit itself has a microphone, but there is an option on the unit's settings to use the original car's "BT Phone", which is OFF on mine. I suppose it's possible to switch between the car's mic and the phone's mic but will have to test it to find out.

No experience here. I was considering it while exploring options. It appeared to have a better presence in North America but their products were much more expensive. I did not see the technical advantage with the pricing. Now that I have used and had great experiences with RoadTop (not a sponsor), no regrets.

Is wifi still required with android auto wireless? Or does it work on a bluetooth connection only?

Yes, you need both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for Android Auto. When you connect Bluetooth, it will reset the Wi-Fi connection on your phone to the unit. If you turn off the Wi-Fi, it will disconnect and turn off the Android Auto mode.

Turn on the video subtitle/transcript, brother! I meant "connect to the same Carplay bluetooth".
