Norton is actually pretty good. Its main issue used to be really high cpu usage. They fixed that a few years ago. Right now it just picks up a shitton of false positives.

Kazuto The Otaku Dude, It's been years since I used it. All I'll say is that sometimes it doesn't pickup any threats when Malwarebytes, which I'm using right now, picks up a lot. I won't say don't use Norton, but if you have it, you should consider doubling up on your anti-virus. It might be better to google the differences between certain anti-virus programs to see what would fit your needs best. It really depends on how often your device is used and what you use it for.

Well I downloaded a ton of viruses on a Windows XP VM, and Avast! worked the best. Malwarebytes was blocked by one of the viruses, as was AVG.

Not all iPhone apps look better than their Android counterparts since some people like material design better than the design language on iOS. It's odd you mention google's apps on iPhone because they use material design, which would mean that material design is better than material design? In addition, some apps' UIs are platform independent in their appearance. The reason they run better on iPhone is because there are fewer models. There are downsides to this in that if you don't like the latest iPhone and the features it took away, too bad. Use an older one. One Android, there are more devices to choose from to fit your needs and wants. Apple's support is better in that they still support updates, but then again those updates are not improvements to older devices such as the iPhone 5s since they lower the clock speed in order to keep the battery life about the same while handling new features unless you don't mind that. The Nexus 7 was released around the same time as the iPhone 5s. The last update by Google was Marshmallow, but you said Android, the OS, rather than the manufacturer. You can get the latest updates if you want on Android using a rom, which would be much harder on an iPhone from what I can see. I wouldn't recommend it, however, because of the downsides of updating an older phone with a newer OS.
