Above all, I dearly love the Andy Griffith show. A real feel good show. Bar none, Barney Fife is IMO the most hilarious character EVER. His demeanor, comedic timing, and facial expressions are the BEST. Truly timeless. Thank you for the visit to ‘Mayberry’.

I’m so happy you finally did this vlog. I remember binge watching every episode of Andy Griffith on Netflix. Such a timeless treasure. However I felt when the show went to color it lost it’s charm and also with Don Knotts no longer being on the show except for a guest appearance on 2 episodes

My ex-husband's aunt was married to a man from Mt. Airy. Supposedly his grandmother was related to Andy Griffith's mother some how. His surname was "Beasley". I believe in early episodes of the show Goober's last name was Beasley but they changed it later. Thanks for yet another great vlog Jordan! Your enthusiasm is contagious!

Jordan! My home town! Wish I knew...I would have directed you over to the Andy Griffith Playhouse too. There is a great bronze statue of Andy & Opie with their fishing poles. My grandmother lived about two blocks away on Granite Street. When I lived there...Mount Airy was just Mount Airy. So much fun to see. Hope you get to try a Snappy Lunch pork sandwich. They're messy as heck. Bring an extra tee shirt! Thanks so much.

I like that show, it was morally beautiful. The only cast member still around is Opie (Ron Howard) original cast. Now look at Ron Howard, a Acadmey Award Winner of more then 1 film. His own daughter is a good actress too. Nice family, still married to the same sweet heart he met in High School. Not to many marriages like this around the world, except the Queen, but her night in armor passed away at 99 last year.

I met Barney in Natchitoches, La at a Christmas parade. As a young girl who watched the show, it was really exciting. Andy and I both have had GBS which is rare. I always wonder how he progressed from it. A absolutely great show. Good video!

I didn't make it the first time lol! 🤘🥳 Did you make it to Pilot Mt./ Mt. Pilot? I Remember the best advice Andy gave the Dillards/Darlings was to use their own music because they would still have to pay them for music and Don only got paid for 5 reruns. The public domain episodes have that jazzy music because they still have to pay royalties for music. This is my favorite show and every time I'm there I get a Barney You're Gassed! bumper sticker. It's on my guitar case! :D Floyd's last episode before the stroke was Covicts at Large.
