@@unlockedaccount Nah it's even harder to evaluate players in soccer since the best players are all in different leagues and you rarely see players go head to head. Take the fifa award yesterday as an example. It's complete bs that many real players made the best 11. It's just absurd with real not even winning anything and the whole team is a complete mess. Also, who would you say is better? Lewan, Suarez, Mbappe or Neymar?

The ONLY reason Iggy got that Finals MVP is because he guarded LeBron and they didn’t wanna give James the award because the Cavs lost in 2015. It kills me because Jerry West won Finals MVP on a losing squad.

Well Jerry West shouldn't had won it back then. I don't care what anyone says, Finals MVP should not go to a player on a losing team. Same with regular season MVP, it should not go to a player on a team with less than 50 wins and not a top 3 seed. Hence why James Harden should've won it over Russell Westbrook in 2017.

Great video Andy, but one quick "mistake" you made, Aldridge said to Derozan last season "in 1-2 seasons I'll be out of here" meaning that Demar had to take over the team when hes gone, but also he said that he want to return to Portland. So my prediction is he will stay with the spurs until he's contract expires and then return to the Blazers for one last dance

Such an underrated role in the dallas title. Dirk just played out of his mind though. Everyone was talking about Chandler defensively but the the only 2 people he had to match up with was Pau in LA, Aldridge in Portland, and Bosh in Miami. Solid players but Marion guarded Brandon Roy, Kobe, Durant, and Lebron. That has to be the most impressive defensive run in our era.

Being a phoenix suns fan from back I the day I have tons of love for Amare Stoudemire, Shawn Marion & Joe Johnson who made up 60% of the funnest basketball games I've ever watched. I always knew Shawn Marion was always underrated by the rest of the NBA & underappreciated by the suns. Despite having arguably the ugliest shot in leagues history its percentage was good even deep, his hops were unreal as well as his wingspan. He always guarded the other teams best player. Kobe, Lebron, Tim Duncan, Dirk. I always knew Joe Johnson was a star in the making. While I wish he would've stuck with the sums two more years (which I believe would have put them over the top) I was at least glad to see he was everything I knew he would be when given the reins. Stat was a monster with the most beautiful mid range jumper. His dunks & one-ness playing with Nash I could watch forever. Now that I think of it after watching your video & seeing Tom Chambers at the beginning you could make up a whole video if these types of players off the suns alone. Including also Kevin Johson, Thunder Dan Marlje, Jeff Hornacek, danny Manning, Cedric Ceballos, Larry Nance, etc.

Latrell was the warriors best player for years...explosive scorer with defensive skills to match. But the choking incident is going to cost him with a number of other damaging incidences off court. I remember those dark days as a warriors fan: going through one losing season after another the front office in desperation tried to create a new tough "no more Mr. Nice guy" image to sell to the fans... so Carlesimo got tough with his players during practice one day and sprewell being a volatile person fought back and well you know rest.

Well Reggie's "accolades" were the fact he was THE LEADER on a perennial ECF team, leading the Pacers to 5 ECFs in 7 years, including 3 game 7 losses as well as a trip to the NBA Finals where he outplayed Kobe. Reggie stepped it up in the postseason, because that's what his team needed. If a guy like Reggie, or even a Manu Ginobili, needed to put up 25+ppg for a year to achieve team success, they would have done so. Rondo is similar. He mostly did what his team needed from him in order to win, and stepped up when called upon. Sometimes we need to look beyond the basic stats and consider all variables when judging a player's career.

He'll definitely be in, but he was never elite. He benefitted from a centerless era and is a perfect example of how stats lie and the media runs the narrative. His boxscores were fancy but he was constantly out of position defensively, giving up 20-30 ppg on layups alone.
