I was just thinking I bet that's easy to park and you said literally any space even if its not a space, good one you can't beat a twizy for knocking about to the shops and back charge it up and away you go fantastic.

Haha! Yeah love it, even better when you are covering the energy costs with solar. (You only need two panels to cover the energy usage of the twizy if you are using 20-30% of battery every day)

Yes it does and top speed on mine is 56 kilometers that's like 30 to 34 miles per hour I live in America

Its something I learnt recently, regarding permanent magnet motors. Sure they're built for efficiently and efficient use of hammerdown power, but getting them hot (like 100C) all the time can lose its magnetism.

I am still jealous. As you know i was trying to get myself a twizy but the deal could not be done. I gave up and then brought a revy 0.9l turbo car but i am enjoying that. I still want a twizy. lol

You need a twizy! Just buy a 2nd hand one, mine was basically new with a few miles on.

Question I bought the chinese version will the tuner work of the twizy on my rayttle e28. What is your top speed

That’s a good question, the twizy uses a Sevcon controller so if it’s a compete copy then it might work...Does the E28 use a lithium ion battery? Top speed on the modded twizy is unlimited but it maxes out at about 68mph on a good day!

You British melt over 25 Deg C.... Almost 30 degC = Heatwave!!! Here in Australia in summer we are lucky to go below 20deg! Then again it's "Freezing" at 10 degC. Jaunting aside great video mate. Found you via victron gear stayed for the Vlog!

Haha you are right! We are not built for it here. We melt anything over 25 degrees C because it rarely happens. This month has been the longest hottest period in the U.K. for about 100 years they reckon! Cheers for watching the vlog👍

Yeah everyone should have a an electric 1-2 seater in tandem format for short journeys, you could fit 4 side by side on most U.K. roads. That’s how you solve the congestion problem. On the radio the other day they were talking about how it’s too dangerous to cycle in London and it’s too congested to drive and not everyone wants to motorcycle... well the twizy costs less than some high end road bikes and is perfectly safe and convenient for the city. Other countries are already embracing little cars like this.

Hi im looking to buy a Twizy, im disabled, i have a few Questions, 1 where can i display my blue badge without it getting stolen 2 can this be driven in a pedestrian only areas like a mobility scooter can New subscriber here 😎

Whispers from Heaven Unfortunetly the Twizy is a road going vehicle only. It may be small, but riding it down a pavement where there are pedestrians could be extremely dangerous and could land you a hefty fine. 😔

Yes that’s correct, it’s not a mobility vehicle, however it could be good for you. The only issues I could see would be getting in and out, it requires a bit of ducking and diving (for me at least...I’m 6ft3) blue badge potentially an issue. You also have to be ready for cold winters as there is no heater, but I’m working on that! Having said all this It’s probably one of the best cars I’ve had.

The Twizy 45 is available in canada, but, the only way to get it is as a rental @ $99/Month, it can't be purchased. The Twizy 80 is not available over here.
